Hooked Fish & Chips in Glasgow City

Absolutely delicious and great variety of both fish options, batters and condiments.

Worst takeaway i have ever had. Over priced, over rated and service appalling.Order wrong burger was dry burned chicken strips, fish wrong order.Won't be back and wouldn't recommend to anyone

I think best place for food in this city. I visited several times. Amazing food. nice staff members.

I used to rate Hooked but after waiting 80 minutes on a Tuesday evening for a delivery, I won't be back. Don't get me wrong, I dont mind waiting if the full order turns up and the food is actually edible, but when they can't even pack the order correctly and the fish and chips are cold, overcooked and rock hard, I'll definitely be going elsewhere.

Quality is hit and miss. Can be great but can also be very poor as it was last night. It's expensive and really needs to be great all of the time to justify that

Supposedly an excellent chippy. Food took 90 mins, missing ingredients, ice cold and full of black chips. Awful!

The fish in tempura batter was lovely as where the chips and scampi. Food was well priced and was ready quickly after ordering, can't complain. Top tip, get the seasoning on the chips, oh my!

Had been one of my favourite chippies in Glasgow. Good menu with some interesting additions compared to your standard chip shop, and they use cooking oil responsibly. On last visit however chips were badly cooked; solid and pretty inedible tbh. The chicken strips were over cooked too, and the meat was really dry and hard. Bit dissapointing really. Maybe it's best to stick to the fish after all.

Good portions, we did the half and half, where you get two small fillets with different batters. Fish was a bit dry, but batter was crisp. I'm still undecided between this place and Marinis across and down the road.

Bloody delicious! Chunky chips with very crispy fish not soggy or greasy. tartare sauce tangy delicious. Mushy peas looks a little bit lumpy but I never liked mushy peas, I always get it for the hubby.
