Il Pavone in Glasgow City

Very expensive for what it is. Probably the worst chicken burger I have ever had in my life and the tiramisu tasted half frozen. Pasta portions were very small considering the price. Wouldn’t go back.

Went last minute restaurant managed to squeeze the 3 of us in what followed is the worst dining experience of my life. waited half an hour for a fillet steak which considering they were quite busy was OK but the 2 steaks appeared to have been boiled and one was still mooing. You ask can it get worse yes it can on consumption of the pizza a small shard of glass which resembled a sauce jar lid was found absolutely appalling and we were left in complete shock that this had even happened. The restaurant manager Shirley or shelly I believe was very apologetic and obviously covered our bill and also said she would get us a round next time we were in but unfortunately after this experience we won't be back. Felt very sorry for the front of house stuff being handed substandard and quite frankly dangerous food which could cause serious harm

No real vegan options within a large yet incredibly meat fuelled menu. I eat vegan due to health problems rather than choice. Had to have dairy dish unfortunately. Bland tiramisu, which is a first and I’ve had lots of tiramisus in my life. Meh.

Excellent food, great value, friendly staff. Always a favourite

Was there last night for the first time and I have to say the whole experience was absolutely amazing, from the friendly staff, the relaxed atmosphere and the food was the best Italian fare I have ever tasted, will definitely be back 😋

Was here for a birthday party, waiters were attentive and attended very nicely to our group. Meal was good but not a great selection of Mocktails, they had just 2, I guess that's better than nothing. Overall, a good experience

Food excellent, friendly staff good price.

Having had beautiful meal at Il Pavone on Saturday evening 4th October with my two sisters and her husband I was bitterly disappointed that I was overcharged £68. Now you may think no!! How can someone be over charged that much. My brother in law generally doesn’t check bill however I thought it seemed bit expensive and it was a bottle of wine and two soft drinks added to our bill apparently…. it was the cashier who pressed the wrong button. Just an apology was offered and nothing else. I love this restaurant as it is so good to get half portions as we like few starters. Very disappointed.

A nice little Italian in Prince's Square. The food is always nice and they've got a good value early evening menu too. Staff are friendly and helpful. No complaints.

Loved it, the pate was nice but the main was superb (Pasta with Scallops, Spanish Sausage, Black Pudding & White wine sauce).Only issue was one of our group ordered an Eton Mess for dessert but brought a Sundae instead & when told that wasn't what we ordered, it was still put in front of him .. but it's certainly didn't spoil the meal.A lovely setting to, with a great view of the Princess Sq. Christmas tree.
