Only got coffee and too expensive for me. The place is cozy and chill but not really my atmosphere to work on uni work.

Big, awkward, heavy furniture like something out of the Flintstones..., one member of staff is great, the other seems to be on his gap year... and the door doesn't close properly.... Food was fine though and the wines are good.

Great coffee, great service, great furniture. Probably the best coffee shop in the West End. Go there!

Ordered soup and a sandwich. Unfortunately the chef must have been having an off day- soup (carrot and coriander) was totally tasteless, basically hot liquid with oil poured over it. Greasy and weird. Chicken n bacon sarnie barely adequate small and little filling. We politely spoke to the waiter (transpired to be the manager) and asked if he could remove soup from bill as we had not eaten any of it. He declined to remove it from the bill and as we had no intention of paying for something we did not enjoy nor eat, we had to ask again and debate the issue before he reluctantly agreed. He provided a verbal of the bill instead of paper copy and short- changed me. We advised him we would not return due to his poor attitude and lack of service. A lovely wee spot( among many others) in Glasgows west end let down by poor customer service. We note several similar customer reviews. It would be prudent of the owner to consider some basic training of his manager.

Pleasant staff. Good coffee. Clean toilets. Now my regular coffee shop before my Wednesday tai chi class!

In the botanical gardens and friendly staff supplying lots of various snacks and drinks. West end prices but that's the west end for you. My daughter had 4 large chicken nuggets and chips with a can of fanta which was £6. The nuggets were breast of chicken and she said were great and I had a chip and they were good as well. Not your average chicken nuggets that's for sure. Everything was clean and covid aware and a pretty slick operation from the girls/women in controle of things

Only reason I gave this place two stars was the coffee was delish as well as the roll when I eventually got it. What really disappointed me was the 15 min wait for this and both of my items coming at separate times. There is a real lack of organisation and timing at Jelly Hill Cafe Bar. Ordering to take away, I'm given my coffee in around 5 mins which is fine but waited 10 further mins for the roll. I was finished the coffee by time I got my roll but to make things more frustrating, I was watching a brown bag sitting on the counter for the last 5 mins knowing it was mine but clearly no urgency to get the food out whilst it's hot as it just sat there. I decided to head in to find out what was happening with my roll only to be handed the brown bag I seen 5 mins earlier. I voiced my frustration but at no point received an apology but just a bunch of excuses with no real justification as to why I was not handed the roll 5 mins earlier and sent on my way. Poor service and staff need training around building rapport with your customers with a key focus on how to acknowledge poor experience, show empathy and finding a solution to the complaint.

Went for lunch today, unfortunately very poor service, only 2 orders to remember and got 1 wrong, when it arrive it was still wrong and it was off their menu?? was offered a drink while I waited for my meal while my partner ate, then was told they needed the table???? We had booked so had a 1hr45min window and we had only been there 50mins, then they tried to charge for the extra drink and for an extra salad, sorry but with kind of customer service I definitely won't be going back. The apology for their mistakes was so half hearted, poor show.

A nice, friendly small cafe/bar in the west end of Glasgow. Inside, the cafe is tastefully decorated with muted colours and lighting. There's a mixture of outdoor seating, high chairs, booths styles seats and standard cafe tables. There's a fairly extensive menu of healthy foods good amount of choices by cafe standards, although we already had lunch, so just went for coffees. I ordered a cappuccino and my friend ordered a black coffee, both of which came with a small piece of fudge. I used my to flavour the coffee instead of sugar and that went well. The staff are super friendly, very quick to take our order and make delicious coffees.

Lovely little west end café. Dog friendly too. Good breakfast roll and drink offer before 11. My daughter had the banana and chocolate waffles and couldn't finish it as was such a large portion. Some of the food options are on the pricier side though.
