The five star LUV cafe provides fabulous food, fabulous service, fabulous toilets, every weekday, here, in the desert known as Linthouse. On this fabulous Friday, 2 of the Fab Four; cafe manager Nikky and her supermodel assistant (a woman so cool, not to mention alluring, she's known only by her initial, J; she permits me, and only me, to call her Candice) The only thing spoiling this fabulous Friday was the smell of sulphur, but don't worry taxpaying citizens, the staff and committee from the worst housing provider in the solar system, Linthouse HA, mercifully, visit briefly for take-away skinny lattes and then, employing their more than ample fatty calves, scurry back to the safety and security of their well appointed nest (the only dynamism ever exhibited by this smug complacent shower) Something rather crass, don't you think, about staff and their committee who've signed the death warrant of this much 'LUVVED' establishment, still frequenting this wonderful not-for-profit cafe. But then again Linthouse HA, like most other E.V.H housing providers in Scotland, is actually 'run' by people who wouldn't let their best friend defecate in the excrement laden streets, never mind live, in my beloved Linthouse. And can I apologise on behalf of the Linthouse housing committee members' sudden inability to flush the 'Gent's' toilet of the LUV (I advise using the term gentleman loosely when referring to the type of spiteful spongers and envious losers known as EVH committee members) can the 'training' staff at this EVH housing provider remind the voluntary committee members that normally, one pulls the plug after one has done one's business, especially, when one's business has involved a number 2. As someone who has growths removed from his bowels every 3 months by the wonderful NHS staff at the New Vikki, there's something particularly disturbing about grown men who still don't flush, never mind that other old chestnut: forgetting to wash their hands after, er, powdering their noses. Anyhoo, if these rats can pull the plug on my LUV Cafe, and terminate the contracts of my Fab Four, you'd think the thoughtless vandals could muster the decency, never mind the manners, to literally pull the plug on their own excrement. Crass, as I stated earlier, is the defining feature of these well rewarded middle class public sector charlatans known as Linthouse Housing Association, part of the Employers in Voluntary Housing movement, pun intended, (EVH). The other middle class public sector charlatans who are meant to regulate these people (the ironically named Scottish Housing Regulator, the Government Inspector) appear in fact, to do more to protect the pension, bonuses, and the 90K a year that these shameless swindlers earn in places such as Linthouse HA. Must be great to be regulated by somebody you 'sleep' with. These forensic accounting specialists at the SHR, are I suspect, the kind of public servants who pat each other on the back when someone, anyone, manages to work the Power Point. More importantly, perhaps, also the kind of people, who pay their dues to Labour but, in reality and in private, vote SNP, perhaps sometimes, even Scottish Conservative. Like their overpaid fat cat friends at Linthouse HA, they appear to have no real regard for, or any meaningful contact with the ordinary people who love this place. The so-called Regulator have agreed with their friends at Linthouse HA that the LUV doesn't make a profit. Would someone tell these middle class hawfwits: it's a NOT-FOR-PROFIT cafe. As Homer would say, D'OH!!! Can the one person at the SHR who I know for a fact has real integrity, as well as the interests of ordinary people, not just social housing tenants, in her heart as well as in her DNA, the Government Inspector known as St Margaret of New Gorbals: Can she be sent to Linthouse as soon as possible? (I think having social housing in her blood possibly explains the poor circulation in both her big toes) For the mother of God, can the Blessed Margaret be sent to Linthouse to sort this mess out. Send in the Shark, please.
