Meat Bar in Glasgow City

My boyfriend and I booked a trip away to Glasgow and wanted to go somewhere for steak. Not knowing many places in Glasgow I decided to read a few reviews online. After reading many good things about the Meat bar I decided to go ahead and book. It definitely did not disappoint! The food was incredible!! Came super fast and the staff were very attentive. Also very good atmosphere. This will not be our last time visiting. Would highly recommend :)

Had a fabulous meal at MEAT, the steaks were good quality & beautifully cooked. Lovely atmosphere and decor inside giving off an edgy but warm feel. The service was attentive and Kelly was amazing. Really looked after us, lots of check ins and made some fab recommendations on the menu.

I have had the pleasure of eating here several times and am never disappointed by the quality of the food, drinks and service. This small and friendly steak house serves some of the best meat in Glasgow in a cosy, unpretentious setting.

Love the meal deal in here, £10 got steak and chips with mushrooms, also a soft drink. The steak cuts vary on this but they are always always cooked to perfection and well seasoned. Nice wine selection, not cheap though. Good atmosphere and chilled staff too. Would highly recommend this place if you like a nice steak.

A small and cosy restaurant with a great menu and amazing food. Everyone was friendly, polite and incredibly cheerful.Food was served quickly and cooked well with plenty of flavouring. They run daily specials and offers on meals so well worth taking the time to ask on arrival. Steaks are the speciality that’s for sure and my Ribeye was one of the best in the city so far.Dining was not rushed even though they were busy. Will visit again.

Top notch burger place in Glasgow!!! Fun fun menu, great service and the portions and food itself were bang on!!The peppercorn sauce on my burger was a right treat… and deffo something I’d try myself in the future!!It’s a cool place, hard to argue with what it does when it does it so well!!Get down and give it a whirl!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Came to scotland to spend my birthday with my girlfriend. Originally planned on going to Miller and Carter but settled on here and wasn't disappointed at all. Worth every penny. Really nice atmosphere. Front of house were polite and efficient. Chefs definitely know what they're doing(if you're thinking about getting their house gravy, do it)

Hands down thee best steakhouse in town!! Quality cut steak cooked to perfection 😍 Loved the crispy garlic and rosemary potatoes too! Service was also excellent! Could not fault this place what do ever 10/10

We loved this place! The food was super, the ribeye and the fillet were just perfect and tasty. We also tried a cocktail which was great! You can really feel the staff cares about their customers and wants them to have a lovely experience. Prices are OK for the high quality food. Highly recommended!

In an exclusive visit to taste their meats, I find myself with the unpleasant situation that they do not have a transparency in the communications between Customers / Waiters / Kitchen.I order one of the most popular meats in the sector (Rump)I want it at a low cooking point Medium Raw and they serve it to me Well done. I ordered the largest portion they had and they served me a medium size tiarando to small.After a long conversation and being obliged to communicate my exclusive visit to taste their dishes, they confess to me that they do not have another portion of rump to replace the previous one, since I was not satisfied with that overcooked piece. instead they offered me to taste other of their meats, so they brought me a sirloin, medium-low in size at a medium rare point. Meat with a high concentration of salt.I don't understand how this place supposedly defines itself as specializing in meat. They should perhaps visit their competitors and get to know a good Argentine or Brazilian barbecue.At the time of payment, I am surprised that they did not charge me for the meat, although they did charge for the garnishes, quite a detail, but from my point of view those garnishes should not have been charged, since they did not have the desired quality They served me half a grilled tomato on the side of the branch, with the union of the fruit and branch.The Scotch whiskey sauce was to my liking.The salad on the plate had the dressing built into it, which made it inedible after the waiting times.The rosemary potatoes got cold from waiting times.Anyway, my experience was disastrous especially because my table was the only one occupied in the place, there was no possibility of excusing all the failures due to saturation in the kitchen.My advice to clients.If you are looking for a meat specialization, choose another.My advice to the company.If you only have one piece of meat, close the restaurant.If a customer says that he is not satisfied with the dish, immediately change it! or suggests viable alternatives.Do not lie!! don't make up stories to justify yourself.Perhaps you should remember that a restaurant is an economic exchange of services.
