Very popular steakhouse so reservation is a must. Even though their webpage said fixed priced menus are not available but they are now available weekdays from 12-3. We were the first to be seated but the place was fully packed soon after. Quality and degree of the T-bone steak was excellent. Smoky BBQ rib was melting without being too sweet. IMHO, price was reasonable for what you get and staffs were attentive. Perhaps my wee complaint is their choice of music in the background, hence 4 star (I would've only taken half a point but no such choice...). Overall, it was an excellent experience and would love to visit again soon.Update: it usually doesn't come easy you get a better impression when you visit the same restaurant on a second time around. When it does, the place will become your favourite. Excellent food and quality service was same as the first time (and the music was consistent as before too...). I strongly recommend their sharing cuts especially for family.

Great restaurant. I don’t care much for steak and I was pleasantly surprised by the other options available on the menu. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely go back.On a side note - toilets were very interesting as you have to go into the basement and through the old bank safe door!

Very nice interior. Attentive stuff. Good menu. Had 50 days aged steak which was nice but I've had better once for the price (ÂŁ32). On the expensive side guess. Two mains and 3 rounds of cocktails in region of ÂŁ130

I was quite disappointed with this place I don't know if it was because I had myself so hyped up for it as I had never been before and it was probably the fanciest restaurant I'd been too in a long time. The food was what I was disappointed in. I got the fillet (shown in the picture) 29.95 that cost and it was tiny. It also just tasted average (again think I had myself hyped up for something amazing). My chips were chewy. They had a onion loaf on the plate which was just very crispy onions stuck together...and a pointless half wedge of lettuce with dressing in a bowl that never got touched. This was all included in the meal. The service however was brilliant. Our waiter Ryan was such a lovely guy he made us feel very welcome and taken care of.I would probably not go back here as it is too much money for food i do not feel was worth it.

An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for! All steaks come with house fries they can up upgraded to chunky chips or sweet potato fried but we honestly didn't feel the need. The lettuce wedge that accompanies the steak comes with a choice of 4 dressings and I demolished mine quickly. The desserts were also absolutely beautiful with the vanilla ice cream accompanying the sticky toffee pudding being sublime. The cocktails are very tasty (though strong!) and reasonably priced. Overall yes, the restaurant is a little pricey, however we felt it was well worth the money.A special mention to our server, Courtenay, who was extremely helpful, chatty and full of recommendations. We couldn't have asked for a better server, she was amazing.Definitely one to visit if you're in the city and looking for a fantastic steak!

Lovely welcoming by staff. Absolutely gorgeous setting within the old post office in which they have kept some notable features including the old vault where the immaculate toilets are. Masks were worn by customers and staff and social distancing maintained with hand gel throughout. Our server was polite, helpful and professional throughout our 1.5 hour visit. Food was amazing and was served within a good time. Good choice of drinks and not overpriced. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and comes with all sides. Beef dripping sauce was devine over steak and chips and onion loaf. I chose normal chips but will definitely upgrade to chunky (ÂŁ1) next time as these were much tastier however I completely cleared my plate. The mango non alcoholic cocktail was delicious and very tasty. Sticky toffee pudding was good however the ice cream was devine. My daughter's birthday was brought up in general conversation with our server so the birthday cookies on plate was a lovely surprise. Will definitely return and have steak, chunky chips and lettuce wedge with garlic mayo. Looking forward to it already.

Located in the old Glasgow GPO Building (post office to you and I) stunning original architecture and features. Warm and professional service, great food

I've been to Miller and Carter a few times and still cannot fault it. Tonights service was amazing, our server Bob could not do enough for us. On an especially busy evening (new years eve) service was efficient and without fault. Thank you so much for a lovely evening, I cannot recommend enough 10/10 and I'll definitely be returning xx

I took my partner hear for her birthday dinner. The place is lovely inside. Loved the vault door to get to the toilets. The server was very nice and was very informative with anything we asked about the menu. I had the scallops, followed by a steak of coarse and Sunday type desert. All of which was beautiful. The steak for example was cooked to absolute perfection. It can be a little high on price but it's well worth it 100%. Highly recommended

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday a few days ago. The place is absolutely beautiful and has a very lovely atmosphere. The staff are great, particularly a guy called Stevie who was just the best. The food is delicious. I got the sticky chipotle chicken bites which were incredible & my boyfriend got the scallops which he said was very good too. He went for the steak, which he loved. I opted for a burger as I’m not much of a steak fan, it was lovely, very good quality. The only thing I wasn’t sold on was the sticky toffee pudding which I normally love but I didn’t from here, can’t put my finger on why, just didn’t love it. Overall, great place!
