Relaxed atmosphere and great food. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic vegan Mac n cheese I always get the mini version as it’s still a lot of food but I can’t eat adult sized meals my fiancé can and he got the pizza which he enjoyed! He’s had the burger from here before as well. Nice friendly staff. However it does always take a while to get the bill whenever we visit here which can be annoying when you have somewhere to be but apart from that this place is amazing for vegan food and whenever I visit I still come here

Great place for vegan dishes. Nice space for larger groups, especially inside. Good tunes. Good beers. The staff are a bit up in themselves, but if you can ignore the low-key snobbery, it's a great spot.

Fantastic vegan food! My daughter had a great beet and “feta” cheese salad. It was really nice. My son had a huge serving of Mac and cheese, and my husband and I had the arancini balls. Delicious! Even a non vegan would have been happy eating here! I totally recommend Mono

I wish I could sincerely rate this place higher. The crust on the pizza I had was tasty, their aesthetic is nice, and it's a convenient location. The low rating is absolutely based on the service. Throughout the night once our table's bottle of water was empty no one offered to replace it even as it was placed at the end of the table. We didn't ask either so that could be on us. The staff rarely checked in on our table. So little that we had to go to the bar to order drinks for the tables. This would all be acceptable and less annoying if it wasn't for the fact that when I looked up at the counter there was an employ with his head on his arms at the bar top with another employ just chatting away with him. I get that sometimes we're tired but this looked more like boredom than exhaustion. The final straw was when asking for our bill they said they would not split it more than 3 ways and they had forgotten to include the £50 they had taken for the reservation. So if I was willing to patron this place again takeaway I believe would be the best option.

Good value vegan cafe serving main meals as well as small plates and starters. The beetroot and 'feta' salad was tasty and a good portion size for £6. Lots of spaced out tables though this did mean it wasn't that cosy. Also my soy milk curdled in my coffee but that's my fault for not choosing oat milk.

I’ve been away from Glasgow for a few years and was delighted to get along to Mono for some vegan scran last week. Pleased to say it’s still delivering the goods! I couldn’t make my mind up if I wanted the good old mac n cheeze or to try the plant based black pudding, so I asked nicely and the chef whipped me up both in one dish – it was tremendous! Highly recommend. Always great when the kitchen is happy to accommodate your mad requests with some tasty tucker.

The food here is incredible, generous portion sizes and great flavour however the service needs improving. All the servers were friendly but when taking our order we requested starters and then mains. About 15-20 minutes after our order was taken, our mains arrived but we did not have our starters yet so we requested our starter. The server didn't really know what to do and just said 'oh well we have no hot plates to keep your food warm' before eventually saying they will nerd to speak to the manager. The manager then had to check our order as the server had put the starters through as side dishes. Once that had all been sorted we then had to wait a further 15-20 for our starters arrived so we had already been there over an hour before the first course was served. Once we had finished our starters, it was as if we had been forgotten about as it took a further 45 minutes for our mains to arrive so over 2 hours from arriving and we had only just received our mains. Lastly once we had finished our mains, no one came to serve us to check if we wanted desserts of the bill, we waited half an hour and eventually asked the waiter at the bar for the bill. There were only 2 of us dining and we only had 2 courses but the whole process took nearly 3 hours so it just seemed really unorganised which is a shame as the food really was great!

We ate lunch outside on a Tuesday - it was relatively busy outside but I can’t comment on inside. The service was quite quick but the food took about 40 mins to arrive - not ideal when one of us was on a work lunch break. The Reuben sandwich and to-fish tacos were enjoyed. The Mac cheese was ok - fake cheese shouldn’t be grilled though, see the photo - and the MFC was a good portion size. For £50, we got 2 sides, 2 mains, a wine and a half pint - for that, I felt slightly underwhelmed. That said, it’s a good option for vegans and veggies - but I don’t personally understand the hype and all the amazing reviews.

Nice vegan restaurant. It has a very extensive menu with a varied selection of cold & warm dishes. It's decorated with modern art pieces and has a nice chill laidback atmosphere.Despite the service being very kind and not pushy, we had to wait to be seated for more than half an hour and for a very long time for our food to come out. It's a bit expensive as well.Recommended vegan or not, but only if you have plenty of time. 3'5/5
