First time here and really impressed. Food was lovely. We had the set menu which was very good value and also a wide choice in all courses. Staff were very friendly too. I would definitely go back

Recommended by a good friend who deserves an upgrade to great friend! Lovely, welcoming wee place. Plenty of options for vegans like us, nice wine selection. Food was really top notch and not expensive. Will definitely be back.

Staff were awesome. Good wine selection. Nice atmosphere and lighting. We ordered from the vegan menu. Starters (Buffalo Cauliflower / Haggis and Beetroot) were absolutely first class. The main courses were less inventive - the risotto and pasta dishes were almost identical, but for the carbs.

Oh what a lovely place, relaxing and classy, you can never go wrong choosing Red Onion, the goat cheese starter is to die for, I had the pork the other night and it was really delicious. It is pretty good value for money as well I think, and the atmosphere gives you a homey feeling.

Really worth visiting. With tasty food, great atmosphere and friendly staff it's a perfect place for a healthy meal. Lots of veggies complementing main dishes. Will be coming back!

Long time lurker of this place and was not disappointed.Me and partner both had 3 courses, where my partner ate from the really big gluten free menu.Rather than the usual different menu options, the menu was almost all of the main menu made GF which is a refreshing change. All the food was lovely, cooked perfectly and well presented. We had octopus and French onion soup. The latter served with rarebit on slice of lightly toasted toast on top, which didn't fit my idea of French onion soup but it was really nice tasting and purely my personal taste to prefer croutons or the bread to be toasted more.Mains were perfect (chicken and beef dishes), all accompaniments were perfect match for each of them and seasoning was perfect too. Chicken was juicy, beef was falling apart. We shared a GF apple and cinnamon crumble and coffee which were lovely.Staff were lovely, will be back to try more.
