New York City Bar and Grill in Glasgow City

Ordered a hot dog, checked if it came with fries etc - was told no, so ordered some wings to go with it. When the bill came it said 2for1 on burgers & dogs. I double checked if that was the case as I would've had a second dog. Told yeah it was and when my disappointment waa obvious, got told 'at least you know fir next time'. To add insult to injury when it came to paying their card machine was down so had to wait ages, they kept trying to sell me another drink, the only alternative was to use their own card machine to get cash out - which charges. I will not be back.

The wings and burger were amazing and I will definitely recommend to go and have them at least once. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Great hospitality from them.

Great selection of beer, some of the best wings I’ve personally had. Great prices too (with Tuesday getting 10 wings for £2 I believe), Staff are also super friendly and full of chat

Amazing service from the get-go!My partner has an illness that can cause severe nausea with no warning. It happened this evening, and the staff were unbelievably understanding. Even before this, the service was faultless tbf. They allowed us to wrap up our food, and even take our drinks with us, which we understand is not normally allowed!Absolutely will be returning when he feels a bit better - thank you so much :)

I didn’t really rate the burgers we got here. May as well have gone five guys! The sweet potato fries were ‘well done’, the seats had bits/crumbs in the creases and the napkins we were provided already had marks on them. The titles in the women’s toilet were sodden and sinking (maybe a burst pip?). Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Nice selection of food, buy 2 for the price of 1 on dogs and burgers, cajun fries well tasty. And a nice cocktail to wash it all down with.

Been coming nearly 10 years and never had a bad meal By no means fine dining but for burgers it's one of the best places in the city center . Great service , pretty quick and on point . Great cocktails also

Good little place for nice cocktails, wings and 2 for 1 burgers and hotdogs. Friendly staff who were great at their job. Been a few times and will definitely be back again!

Great chicken wings available in several varieties. Burgers are great too. Going back this week. The Monday to Thursday deals are great. Good selection of drinks. Not the most swanky of surroundings or furniture. But the food and service still make it 5 star.
