Number 16 in Glasgow City

Absolutely sensational. Fantastic food, really creative, delicious and not dainty for the quality. Service was excellent too.

This is probably my favourite place to eat in Glasgow. The food is consistently incredible - like, the kind where you have to take a moment to close your eyes and just enjoy the first bite.It’s relaxed, friendly, tidy and clean. The set menu is really affordable and usually has a good selection of food types on it.The desserts are always amazing.I highly recommend this to anyone looking for beautiful food in a relaxed and accessible setting. Love it!

Ok I’ve got a new favourite eatery in Glasgow and this is it. We sat upstairs in the nosey seat and watched chef prepare our food. A great care was taken by the cooking staff, each plate lovingly assembled. The front of house staff were very pleasant and knew their dishes. There is no car parking and room is very limited so book in advance and come in plenty of time. But be ready for a culinary delight. My only small criticism would be the decor looks quite tired and the toilets need a minor overhaul - but the food more than makes up for any deficiencies.

My husband and I enjoyed an Anniversary Lunch at No. 16 Restaurant on 13 September 2021. We just love this restaurant. The Menu is always different each time we go and the food always amazing. Such attention to detail by the chef and his staff. The young lady who looked after us was an absolute delight and so helpful. If you are tempted to go soon, try the plum starter it is just out of this world as is the rest of the food on the Menu.

The gazpacho was honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten! Perfectly balanced flavours with the chilli and the activity of the tomato contrasted with the mascarpone. My partner had the cheviche of seabass to start, which he said was great.He had the monkfish satay for his main- he was very impressed by the crispy enoki mushrooms which he said we're the best part of the dish. The fish itself was a little on the small size but well cooked and good quality.The artichoke tortellini was great and would highly recommend. The cauliflower puree was full of flavour and the hazelnuts gave the dish an excellent texture.Finally the crowide cheesecake with basil ice-cream was an absolute DREAM. I could have eaten ten of them!

Excellent and exciting food, with lovely staff and a charming environment. Will definitely go again!My favourites from the menu were sea bass ceviche, sesame and ginger tartare of bavette steak, and monkfish satay. Absolutely brilliant.

Excellent food and very friendly service. The set menu is very reasonable considering how nice the options are. The hake main was lovely and the side with corn in miso and chilli butter was delicious!

5 stars for delicate food, surprisingly the price is not too expensive. With same price, you definitely get better food here.We enjoyed Starters and mains,we love the Lamb dish, scallop and raviolis.Great service, nice decorations, not too noisy. Must book ahead.Not impressed by their dessert, a bit pricey consider the quality.
