Light and airy cafe. Comfy perch by the window watching the world go by. Nice coffee and good fruit & nut chocolate tray bake.

Always disappointing.I understand offshore gets mostly good reviews, and I have tried going multiple times and I am always left disappointed but yearning to understand why it’s reviews are 4+. Here is my take why:It’s one of very few independent coffee shops in Glasgow that has comfortable, relaxing seating. That alone means that people will automatically feel a sense of homeliness and relaxation. For me, that’s where it ends. The coffee is okay. To put it into perspective, Artisan Roast (now closed) was 3 doors down and Perch & Rest (open) is a 2 minute walk from Offshore and both serve(d) better coffee. The staff aren’t entire friendly and in my last visit I was informed I would have have to give up my seat after 1hr. It’s ALWAYS cold inside, so bring your jacket if you do choose to go.I’d hazard a guess that the reason this place is still going is because it’s near the University of Glasgow and students will spend some time here between classes or to do some studying. Finally, with respect to the team, the inside feels grubby, grimy and in need of some restoration.I don’t think it’s bad enough to warrant a 1 star but with the coffee scene in Glasgow booming and the standard increasing, even a 3 star seems too much.

It’s a really cozy place. You can order and pay with a QR code. The hot chocolate is really good and you can add syrups/marshmallows/cream, a bit pricey but it was delicious.

Nice place to have coffee & also breakfast or lunch. Prices are quite reasonable and also staff is very friendly. Actually, i was travelling from manchester to scotland & then when i had visited in this cafe my phone battary was just 9% & they allow me to keep my phone on charge in their staff cabin. If you will ever go to glasgow, it is one of my recommended places to have a coffee with someone special or alone.

I remember going years ago and liking it but now you have to order on an app, so anti-social, then waited FOREVER for our order, which was all brought one at a time with at least 5 minutes in between, first a decaf coffee, then a herbal tea, then a regular coffee, then a humus and pita bread. There is not reason for the drinks not to be served at the same time. We popped in for a quick coffee but where there an hour after waiting for cold, burnt coffee and mediocre food. Will absolutely not be back. Waitress who seated us was lovely, shame she won't be making any tips as management has introduced lazy app point of sale, which if I had known was the case before entering I wouldn't have gone in.

A cosy place where enjoy a coffee and read a book on the big sofas they have. Calm atmosphere and good choices of snacks.

Good covid procedures in this cafe - order and pay via a qr code on the table and a one way system in and out. I had a London Fog which was lovely.

Lovely space, bright and relaxing. Comfy seats, friendly service! Drinks are reasonably priced with vegan options available. Not giving it 5 stars because the app for ordering was really frustrating.

I was looking for a nice, quiet place to work on my laptop and wasn't disappointed! The atmosphere is cosy, the coffee is good and strong, and the staff are super friendly.Service is quite quick even when it fills up a bit, and there are lots of comfy sofas and corners where you can set up on your own or enjoy some company.Overall, really laid back and inviting. Also, dog friendly. If you bring your furry friend they will be supplied with their own water bowl :)

This is a sweet little coffee shop offering decent breakfast and lunch options. The coffee (pictured - flat white) was good as was the cheese toastie. The place isn't particularly smart or trendy but it has a welcoming and comfortable vibe with lots of space to sit and relax.
