Poa San in Glasgow City

Use to love this place but went down hill , full of cheap chicken and more onions than chicken, won’t be bk and only a matter of time till this place is shut not even a restaurant now

Usually love this place. Ordered last nt and curry was rotten and so was the ribs I don't think this is he usual chef as nothing like it normally Is

We live in Australia now, but visited the Poa San over 40yrs ago. We went 2-3 nights every week we loved it that much. Their food was always delicious and staff knew us well back then. Planning to visit Glasgow (home) again as soon as Covid permits. First stop will be Poa San. 🤣 Thankyou for the good memories.

A lovely little Chinese restaurant. Very friendly staff, where they remember the names of regular customers, but everyone gets a smile on entering. Only a few tables though, and it gets busy on Thursday early evenings and Friday mid-evenings. Very tasty food, good portion sizes, welcoming atmosphere, very reasonable prices - what more would you want from a local neighbourhood restaurant? The 3-course sit-in menu is brilliant value for money. But, one negative is: the toilet ("washroom") facilities are very basic. If you chose a take-away, don't expect an express home delivery service (probably because they are busy), but the food quality, portion sizes and reasonable pricing, makes-up for that. My personal favourites are the Chicken breast curry or the Beef & green peppers with black bean sauce & garlic. Both are very tasty, fairly priced and big portions. Well worth a try as a take-away option and once the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, really well worth a sit-in visit.
