Sherbrooke Castle Hotel Restaurant in Glasgow City

Just had a lovely stay at the Castle. The room was absolutely beautiful!!The staff when we checked in were so welcoming, Fiona especially. She was so helpfully to what sites to see and even came to our room with a map and locations to places.The food was lovely, the bar/food staff were lovely.Would definitely love to come up again and stay.ThanksSamantha (London, Essex)

This hotel was built in 1896, so it has a lot of very nice character. The staff are friendly and happy to help. The food is very tasty and presented so well. It almost seems a shame to eat it.I had asked for something that wasn't on the menu, after checking with the chef it brought to me, with very little waiting and again presented with perfect.I felt like the hotel had a very good feel to it. The hotel hosts weddings, and although I looked at other places, I would like to get married here.

Never stayed, only dinner. Staff where very nice and welcoming but the food left a lot to be desired, myself and my partner do alot of 5pm deals and when we seen this we where so exited as it really is a beautiful place and as said the staff can't be more helpful but we wouldn't come back for dinner again. Such a shame as it really is a stunning place.

Had a wonderful birthday lunch yesterday in the Morrison Room. It was the perfect size for our group of 18. Food was delicious and service efficient and unobtrusive. Would highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived we just loved the building, the decor and the wonderful staff team, nothing was a problem, always smiling and courteous whether it was 8am at breakfast or 11pm in the lounge bar.The room was spacious, very comfortable with a huge bed and a fantastic shower.Can not recommend Sherbrooke Castle Hotel enough and when we return to Glasgow will certainly book here for ourselves and our family.

Affordable castle style hotel with lovely food options.Haggis is actually quite nice, if you haven't had it before, why not give it a try.Room is about £150, dinner is about £25 per person.

I never write reviews but I feel compelled to complement the staff of this hotel! We pulled together a dinner for 130 people in about two weeks, constantly changing things and checking in about details. George and Claire on the events team were wonderful to work with. Gregor and the serving staff worked incredibly hard the night of the event. All our guests loved everything - the food, the venue, the atmosphere. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you. Scottish hospitality at its finest!

Although the hotel is very busy with COP 26, I mean extremely busy, staff managed to get out of they way to accommodate may needs. I am yet to try the curry here. Apparently it is very good. Drive Dave is very cool and he knows the area really well. Thank you!

Stayed here to celebrate an anniversary and the staff at the Sherbrooke Castle Hotel went above and beyond to make our stay special. With a room upgrade, tasty dinner and incredible customer service we had the most amazing time. The castle and grounds are gorgeous. Thank you so much to the staff for making our celebrations so special :)

Have been here a number of times for meals and every time has been superb. Wonderful setting and building, with great service and atmosphere. Very popular for weddings, there was one on the last visit and does look an ideal venue. I am sure the main staircase is used in many many photographs.
