Silver Inn in Glasgow City

Got to be the best Chinese in Glasgow , I live in Patrick and travel to Maryhill as the Chinese take always in Patrick aren’t up to much !! Not saying any names lol The food at the silver inn is always so fresh and tasty , I’ve tried various dishes on the menu and i am never let down ! Would highly recommend anyone to try this place , shop is very clean and modern tooThanks guys for always providing tasty meals 👍

Kenny was closed so went here instead. The food was good and didn't take long to make.

Great food. favourite is sweet and sour chicken hong kong style with fried rice. staff are local and Cheryl is an absolute riot with great banter 👏

Questionable from the get go! Order placed and came within 5 minutes. Everything reheated. Chicken rubbery and soggy!! Spring rolls also soggy, chips bland and prawn crackers thin and crispy! WILL MOST CERTAINLY NOT BE EATING FROM HERE AGAIN. I would advise you to skip on this chinese too. Only went to it because my normal one was closed. RANK.

Overpriced. Curry sauce tastes like it caked in MSG, thick and lumpy. Salt and pepper chips are tasteless. Got the order wrong as well. Not worth the money, it’s dearer than any Chinese place I’ve ever ordered from. Not a patch on any of the other Chinese places in Maryhill or Possil. Only came here because everywhere was closed. Never again! Lol

Rice was lumpy ,currysauce tasted of bleach .chiicken balls were tiny ,the only thing that was good was the delivery and thats what the star is for.

2 weeks wrong order... 1st I let go ... this week when phoned as soon as opened... I was to go back then wait to see if was being replaced while you phoned ken... no 2 weeks you got order wrong.... plus I decided to try what was given... I was violently sick in 10 mins.. I also watched your staff when in... disrespectful and cheeky on phone to customers... I run a company not way to treat customers

Good food. Good prices. Speedy delivery. Accommodating with order specifics.Please use the delivery service, by phone/just eat app; after dark. This is not in an area that you want to be in, especially at night.Smash and grabs from parked cars, muggings and stabbings. They are daily occurances on this road.

Very disappointed with the service. Went in to buy fried rice with no MSG which i have done a few times with no hassle only to be told I cannot get it as their fries rice has already been made with MSG in it.Not only are they reheating the rice but very poor customer service when Stephen is off.!!!

Fairly quick service, and reasonably good food. However, the portion size was far too small for the price. Will not be using again as nearby Chinese restaurants offer much better value.
