Slouch Bar, Kitchen & Venue in Glasgow City

From the warm welcome by the young man with the beaming smile to the delicious cocktails and the really very tasty food (we had the special Guinness burger oh yum !!!).All wrapped up in the most perfect soundtrack (we all agreed that somehow you had our playlists lol )Thanks for a brilliant day cant wait to return .

Great place to grab a drink with others. Music choice is some of the best I heard (though I am a fan of rock, so this might be me being partial)

This place is amazing. The vibe is spectacular and the energy is perfect. Crazy good food and lots of comfy tables. The fried chicken sandwich is a monster. I'm taking my wedding party here this summer!!! Easiest large group booking ever.

Terrible door staff attitude, would not recommend.Security were extremely rude and distant. Reading other reviews about the poor first impressions shows my opinion is shared. The bar itself is a good size and pleasant, it's a shame really. Understand door staff gave a tough job but no need to be insulting or downright rude. Will not be back unless they sort this.

I’m going to give this a five star because the bar, the staff and the music is the best in town. Regularly return here. The lazy pinda colada is great, the seating. The service. Top. Slouch is the place to be.The only bad thing is the security or the security from this weekend, we arrived sober from the cinema and the way we were spoken to by security on the door. It would’ve been fair game if we were absolutely drunk or wideos. Nope. The guy was very rude without reason to then let us in anyway (just fancied being a utter bell beforehand). The security is the first impression of Slouch and shouldn’t be this when everyone else is great. He also doesn’t do his job very well, if this is how he is treating people it will put people off.Other: Would be great if they did coke (the drink! Nothing dodge) it’s always better, as think it’s currently pepsi and would also be good to have more mocktails/milkshakes and non vegan stuff as menu has went more vegan lately.still 5, just get rid of the awful guy x

Popped into Slouch for a few pre-Christmas drinks last night with a mate - brilliant venue - good choice of drinks, friendly & helpful staff. Each time I was up at the bar the staff were really quick to see if you needed served. Great atmosphere in the place, top marks all round!

Worst meal I've ever had. Ordered the falafel burger since there wasn't much vegan stuff on their menu which appealed to me. The burger was bland, the bun was charcoaled underneath and chewy so was impossible to eat, but what's worse is that I even felt something crack/chip my tooth (see photo of it on a napkin) but when I raised this issue with the waiter he spoke to the kitchen staff who said it was just a block of salt? I was thinking more along the lines of glass or hard plastic as it was yellow, but this shouldn't be dismissed as okay by the restaurant staff because you could defintiely lose a tooth over biting into it! All I got for this was a measly 15% discount and some of the staff members made me feel as though I was making a big deal out it/was chancing my luck. This was on the 28th and my tooth is still really sore! Absolute rip-off paying a tenner for the worst burger I've ever had and cheap cook from frozen chips that I never even touched. Definitely won't be going back and would definitely not recommend the food.

Just discovered this little gem if a pub yesterday. Don't know why I didn't know about it before.Very warm welcoming pub. Great price for a pint (for Glasgow)Without a word of a lie, probably the best ever pizza I've tasted. Bacon and cajon chkn.Friendly helpful cheery staff.Music from behind the bar was my kinda music. I could have stayed there all night.They also have live bands on.I will most definitely be back here.

Was a decent place...we popped in to waste time as was too early for theatre. Below street level so was a little dark but being a bar I found this quite atmospheric. Fantastic music was being played ..unfortunately it was a cd because we were there about 6pm too early for live band but it was good music and enjoyed by everyone in our party. Drinks were decently priced I guess...I don't frequent bars too often these days but bing in the city of Glasgow I expected to pay more. Only fault I found was that they didn't have a very wide selection of bottled beers/lagers and we had to resort to pint of cider but other than that ...nice place

A really nice bar with lovely staff. I didn't eat but the food looked and smelt nice. It's open late so a good place to finish the night, comfy chairs and booths 👍
