Solid Rock Cafe in Glasgow City

One of my favourite rock pub in Europe. I've been traveling quite a bit and this one always have good drinks, good crowd and excellent classics! 🤘

Great tunes and had no problem finding a seat Friday after work. Will definitely be back 🤘

Today is our first anniversary being engaged with my fiancee and last night went out after work to celebrate, and we chose to have a drink in the place we met for the first time, Solid Rock.We were denied entry at the door because I was wearing trackies, which apparently is not allowed, for some unexplained ridiculous reason.Certainly would not recommend anyone to go to a place with a discriminatory policy like this one. What a shame.

Came from out of town and the drinks are great and very good prices. The music in on point but the best part by far is the people. Hadn't been in there long and had already had people talking to me like I'd been going for years so friendly and welcoming.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Told at 10.30pm fully booked and can't come in. Could literary see 1 person inside.. clearly couldn't be bothered serving folk disgusting attitude.. go to Rufus T instead welcomed with open arms and far superior service! Will ensure everyone I know avoids this dump!

Was knocked back for wearing sports wear 430pm on 16th July. Wad prepared to spend £50-100 with myself and my cousins. Get a grip. You are opposite a gym and it is peak summertime. A bit of common sense. Felt extremely humiliated. Will not be back. A shame as I have spent £1000s in this venue over the years and never once caused any trouble despite the expensive city prices and the smell of damp. Will not be back and I will make sure none of my friend circle return either.

Was in the Solid last week, enjoyed a few pints of Guinness. Getting to meet folk you don't know and talking all things Rock and Metal. Highly recommend.

Awesome bar. Proper rock and metal tracks playing, the selection of beer is perfect, and the food is pretty good too. Will definitely return when next in town.

Favorite bar in Glasgow. Been going here for nigh on 20 years. It always has a friendly atmosphere, decent food, nice staff, good music, plenty of beer and a pool table. What else do you need.
