Had a takeaway and it was absolutely beautiful. Really nice gyoza, inari, pumpkin croquette and Japanese seaweed. Great price, will definitely be ordering again!!

Review of takeaway only… fast preparation and delivery, food was very fresh and authentic, huge selection on menu including more exotic items that the usual sushi places don’t do. Wish they didn’t serve octopus though as they should be protected. Can recommend the teriyaki and the gyozas, ramen is good too.

Always a friendly welcome from Sushi Ya staff. If you like Japanese food this is the place to go. Their food is fantastic and is always delicious.

Authentic Japanese cuisine with great quality of ingredients and wine selection is the best Japanese restaurant in Glasgow City Centre. Bento are perfectly cooked into perfection. Great decorated restaurant on Union Street, with more than 30 seats available and a fully licensed bar onsite invites you to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere of authentic Japanese dinning experience & suitable for family and friends gathering. Wide selections of hot dishes, soup noodle, sashimi with great Ramen Soup Selection, Teriyaki & Japanese specialty Sushi….

MINUS 1 STAR!First time order or Sushi Ya (Sushi Sensei on Uber eats)Placed order on New Year’s Eve through uber eats at 8:07 with eta of 25-35 min. Kept getting updates for delayed delivery time and drivers changed 3 times. After waiting over an hour we called restaurant and asked them to expedite order due to extremely long delay. Lady on phone said it would be ready in 5 min. Next update let us know order was picked up. Within a minute we received message that our order was canceled. Food might have been great, but we will never know…We will never order from this place again and warn others of their poor delivery service!TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!

Phenomenal sushi at great prices. The 16 piece sushi set was an amazing deal and everything tasted very fresh. Dumplings are proper ones with lots of filling, none of that doughy nonsense. Staff are very friendly and atmosphere in the restaurant is very cute.

Enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Sushi and Chicken Katsu Curry. Very nice food and good service. Reasonable prices.

amazing food, it was my first time (won’t be the last though!) and i would highly highly recommend to anyone thinking of going here, the staff are so friendly and attentive. the takoyaki are the biggest portions i’ve had out of the japanese restaurants i’ve been to in glasgow. nippon kitchen & other japanese restaurants in the area don’t compare to sushi ya! will 100% be back. thanks for the great food and service:)

What an amazing experience we had at Sushi Ya! Already been here multiple times and me and my other half love it. Every time the food is fresh and very well made by the chef, also the staff is lovely. The food looks the part also ,not just tasty. We definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Glasgow ! I would love to give 10 stars if there was an option.

A B S O L U T E L Y A M A Z I N GThe decor was beautiful! We were immediately put at ease by the wonderful and kind staff, who cared for us throughout our visit. The music was slamming and we absolutely loved it!Big shout out to the chefs who crafted the most delectable Japanese cuisine. Truly doing God's work! Each bite was a flavour sensation! We were given the choice between chopsticks and cutlery, and we politely declined the cutlery as we are chopstick alphas. (so if you can't use chopsticks then it's okay they'll love you anyway). Big ups to the refreshing fruit juices on offer. I personally was a fan of the pineapple juice whilst my partner preferred the orange lemonade. He actually downed 4 glasses and loved every drop.We aren't usually big eaters, but for SushiYa we made the exception. Clean plates all round and we were absolutely stuffed! Unfortunately I really wanted to try the puddings but I got full up on all of their amazing savoury dishes that I forgot all about dessert lol!We came here two days in a row and we were the only ones there for the most part- very sad as this is an amazing restaurant in a very good location, as its right next to the station! We hope to be back as we can't get this place out of our hearts and souls! Truly a life changing experience, no joke!
