Food was outstanding. Unfortunately the service and the overpowering jazz music turned up to 11 let it down. Shame really

Excellent! Food was very, very good. Staff attentive & helpful.

·

Great ambience. I visited to have Irish coffee and I thoroughly enjoyed with the piano music playing background. The service is really good and people friendly. It's a nice place to hangout with friends, colleagues and family members.

Top food..drinks and 5 star service for anyone visiting the city centre.

Feels like my second home staff are great and they will make a cocktail of your choice as long as they have the ingredients..

No Oysters, No Mussels, No Lobster.Visited here for my sons leaving night. We booked here having reviewed the menu & it’s offerings. Only when we went to place our order 30minutes after being seated were we told that there were no oysters, mussels or lobster available. 2 of us had chosen oysters & lobster and another wanted mussels. We then had to reselect our choices & did consider leaving if we had been able to book a short notice alternative. We asked to speak to the Manageras we really felt we should have been told in advance of our booking time if such signature dishes wouldn’t be available or at the very least been told upon being seated. Apparently our waiter was the manager & couldn’t understand why we weren’t happy. We were given bread & olives as a gesture of goodwill , nothing for our gluten free guest. Service was slow, waiter (manager) initially refused to serve one guest alcohol despite him providing ID to verify his age. Really disappointed by our whole experience & certainly didn’t live up to our expectations.

The food is great, as the cocktails and the deserts are absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly and very prompt. A nice experience for a lovely evening.

Visited Anchor Line for a birthday meal and they were sweet enough to provide a birthday card and write a message with dessert. The surroundings are beautiful, and there’s a decent wine/cocktail list. Menu is good, with some special options such as oysters and lobster. The food was good, it was slightly under seasoned. The serving staff are polite and efficient, the food was served a little too quickly with very little time between courses which makes you feel a little rushed. Other than that I would highly recommend this venue.

This was a wonderful dining experence from start to finish, the building is luxurious inside and out , the staff courteous and so professional and the food was amazing , scallops to start followed by buttered chicken with some fine merlot to accompany. The room was busy but not loud as everybody seemed to be enjoying the experience like us. Its not cheap but food ,service and ambience this good is so worth it , very well recommended , this will be a place we will return to again and again
