The Ark in Glasgow City

Definitely the best beer garden in Glasgow. Me and my mates had such a good day in here the other week. The beer selection is awesome, I had a pint of Neck Oil. Food was great even though they were busy. And all the staff seemed sound. Can’t wait for some more sunshine!

Love how dog friendly they are here! Always feel looked after when me and my pooch pop in. Drinks are always spot on - food is great too!They have loads of screens to watch the football or whatever sport you want to be honest - they put the ladies six nations on for me when I asked the other day. They have some great outside TV's for summer too.

Brilliant bar, one of glasgows best for sure. Great atmosphere, brilliant food and selection of drinks. Staff where all top tier, very welcoming and attentive. I'm not one for reviewing much but after today's experience I felt obliged. No doubt will come back here as soon as I can!

Such a good place for a chilled couple of drinks! Went with some work colleagues and had a great time, the service was so quick, the staff were really helpful and the atmosphere was great! I’ll be going back

Amazing bar in Glasgow City Centre - we stumbled upon this establishment after getting off of the train and my god… what a treat. From the hundereds of fairy lights to the amazing beer garden I can’t recommend highly enough! Friendly staff, great selection of drinks and amazing food menu. 10/10 would recommend and will be visiting again very soon! 😊 x

We went here on Saturday night, now I’m not one to usually leave reviews but I feel like this experience merits one.From the moment we walked in the door, we were made to feel like royalty, despite them being very busy and the place was buzzing, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, they were all super friendly. We ventured out into the beer garden (10/10 btw) and sat under the heaters and had a few drinks, later we moved inside and the bar was still absolutely jumping - amazing atmosphere, music, and just general feel to the place. Would highly recommend a visit if you’re in Glasgow - you don’t want to miss out!

Great beer garden even in the winter with the heaters and covered areas. Food was good and a great selection of beers and whisky. Staff were brilliant all really helpful and friendly even when it was busy for the rugby. Will definitely book a table next time.

Went to the ark on Saturday with a group of friends. Its a decent size, with the option to sit inside or out in the beer garden, we were upstairs on the comfy chairs and couches.The staff were really friendly and never queued too long to be served. We ordered some sharing platters, the food was lovely and a good selection. The toilets are spotless too.

One of the best bars in Glasgow especially for sport or the big beer garden. Bright, friendly atmosphere and the recent refurb has brought more and better booths, and other seating has been improved!

I decided to take my party of friends to the ark for a couple of drinks, given that I had went through limited, but generally positive experiences there before. What happened next, shocked me to an extent I never thought possible from a night in a pub. Firstly, the drinks took an age to come, I didn’t think much of this as I understand the current pandemic must make things difficult. However, I was horrified by the attitude of the staff. A woman who described herself as the “bar manager” took an unusually prompt tone with my friend when he innocently asked if he had ordered the drinks. She said he would he would need to find “better friends” rather than finding a solution that would please all parties. Until this, I thought the establishment was wonderful, now, I don’t think I can return.
