Really lovely lunch, great value, took my daughter as a pre Christmas treat. Set meal of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 sweets. We both had the turkey and it was delicious. The reason for not giving an excellent was being charged £4 each for a cup of coffee, and it was not even great, it was strong and bitter. I left half of mine, my daughter paid for it so didn't know till we left, I was astonished. I have had a pot of coffee in lovely surrounding of Marr Hall and only paid this price. So be aware when booking this deal, have a lovely meal and go elsewhere for a coffee.

Lovely setting sitting looking out at Georgr Square. Great food and service and great value for money, always as an offer on

This booking was made for my mum's birthday, and it was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately there was only one waitress serving the entire restaurant, she was absolutely phenomenal, her name was Sophie and she was on placement at the restaurant. She coped fantastic under the pressure and was so lovely and helpful. The barman was absolutely hopeless and we waited for over 20mins for our drinks. The ambiance and atmosphere in the restaurant were second to none- so relaxing and warm, very up-market and posh, a very classy and elegant experience. Already booked to go again!

Friendly and attentive staff, nice surroundings but food was woeful. Tomato and basil soup was fine, vegan risotto was the blandest i've ever eaten, bowl of fruit for dessert. Embarrassing for a city centre hotel restaurant.

Afternoon tea was very poor, sandwiches were dull, cakes were ok and scones were definitely shop bought. I expected more from here especially with the opportune of tourists and location. Feel I would of had nicer from Greggs across the square. Only plus was unlimited tea and coffee.

We were a party of 4 in for the afternoon tea which was excellent the staff were very friendly and polite, would have loved a seat in the conservatory but they were all gone. All in all a lovely experience & will be back

No atmosphere. Food poor (grilled chicken in a brown gravy is *not* coq au vin). Does look quite posh though of that's what you like. Glasgow has much better restaurants than this.

This is a hotel restaurant, pure and simple. It's somewhere to eat if you are staying in the hotel, but otherwise the food is nothing to write home about. The view however... It's a lot of fun to have dinner in the conservatory overlooking George Square and watch the world go by. If you don't get a conservatory table, then give it a miss.
