The Brooklyn Cafe in Glasgow City

Had lunch, four of us. Good filled rolls and soup. Flat white coffee, good. An empire biscuit was £3.70, so too much I think. Pass. Pleasant service, tables inside or on pavement. Recommended.

Delicious food and very good coffee. Cafe itself is lovely and clean with a good menu with loads of vegan options and gluten free bread on offer. Really accommodating and friendly staff too X

Really tasty, freshly cooked breakfast with great coffee. Pleasant and efficient staff and excellent covid measures in place.Located close to Queens Park. Parking could be challenging as it is throughout Shawlands but this cafe is definitely worth the effort.

Really solid cafe this, pretty much exactly what you’d hope for. Great service from everyone, in particular Brian who is speedy and attentive. I’ll be back

We ended up in the Brooklyn Cafe as an accident, but we are so glad that we did!! My daughter was over the moon that she could have an Oreo milkshake and my partner and I joined her with a more adult double espresso milkshake - all delicious! Our eyes were bigger than our bellies but we wanted to try a couple of things so we went for it. My partner who is vegetarian was pleased with the veggie options, she ordered a vegan panini and was brought out coleslaw with vegan mayo as a bonus! Love this inclusivity. We also shared the cauliflower wings which were 10/10, we couldn’t get enough of them. I got the haggis grilled cheese which was delicious and so filling, and my daughter got a club sandwich so filling she took half of it home! She also got a portion of the bbq chicken wings, we ordered a small but she took those home too! Everything was delicious. Service couldn’t have been better, with Brian our server being attentive and keeping us laughing. We are so chuffed that we ended up in the Brooklyn Cafe and we can’t wait to visit again!

Found out about this place in summer 2021 and since then when I want to go for a vegan brunch, Brooklyn Cafe is THE place! Good amount of options for vegans, nice coffee and attentive staff😄😄

Been going to the Brooklyn since I was young, it still retains it's old charm, the staff were very attentive and the food for a café is very well presented. Can't recommend highly enough.

Great service, fantastic food as usual. Felt very safe COVID-19 wise. Worth a visit. My treat to me, was a double scoop cone walking up Minard Rd..... felt stuffed all day....

Popped in for lunch and the service from our waitress was wonderful. She was incredibly polite and friendly, and nothing was a problem for her. Ordered the tuna panini which was lacking in the mayo portion of the order, but otherwise very enjoyable. The Brooklyn Benedict was a hit. Highly recommended.
