Had a private room for my hen party and had an amazing night!! Staff were superb and kept the drinks flowing all night. Food was delicious and really good quality (don't always expect that on a hen party!) We were able to link phone upto speaker and play our own music which was fab. We even managed to head to Buff Club afterwards. Thanks to everyone at the Butterfly and Pig for such a memorable night (and sorry for all the awful singing!)

I went here with family for afternoon tea and it was simply lovey. The staff were so attentive and the food was beautifully prepared and served. It was a really lovey experience and we all left full up and happy. I highly recommend this lovely place for afternoon tea.

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch here, we were a party of 8 and the staff were very accommodating and friendly & everything that we had on the menu was delicious.

·

Great food and quick service. The staff were friendly and helpful, though could be a little more attentive to dining guests. The menu being renewed each day makes this a place worth returning to over other eateries in the area. Satisfying portion sizes, lovely atmosphere and clean facilities.

Had an afternoon tea here thanks to a birthday present voucher. I was well pleased. The food was amazing. They let me change a couple of things as I didn't like what they had. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back

A really nice surprise! Great ambiance, cosy and warm, like when you visit your grandma's house. There are two areas, a dining room and a more "loungy" one, which I found a good idea. Both areas have a different decor from each other, making the experience more unique. There's an outside area for when the weather allows it.Food was delicious, I had the tortilla, my friends had the steak pie and we left satisfied with quantity and flavours.Perfect spot for a date or a drink with friends after work.

Great food that feels both fancy and homemade, a cozy pub ambience and great drinks. This place is really fun! I had haggis fritters which were crispy and wonderfully paired with a rich sauce, and followed it up with a risotto with pumpkin and sage. Sunday's are roast days, so that is when I will be back!

Had dinner on our first night in town following all the raving reviews. Overall food was great but not everything is to my taste. The star of the show had to be the pork which my brother had and loved. The skin was really crispy and the meat tender and juicy. The steak pie I had was okay the steak sauce tasted a bit salty and lack of other flavours. It could be that’s how it meant to be. We also had a starter each prawns and sweet potato salad which were nice but not too exciting. But the pork is definitely worth a try hence the 5 star.
