The Croft Bar in Glasgow City

Decided to go for dinner considering a few people my wife and I knew recommended it. Food was phenomenal. I'm not a foodie by any means and I was taken aback by how good the food was. Everything we ate was cooked perfectlyThe fish, the steak and the steak pie. Normally something is overcooked or undercooked anywhere you go. Even slightly - there's normally something. But everything was cooked perfect. The service was great too. Staff looked hardworking. Didn't stop once the whole time we were there. Very attentive. Food didn't come too quick or too slow. Happy stomach.

It was wonderful to be able to celebrate mum's day and return to the Croft retaurant in such a long time. We we're greeted at the entrance table and taken to our table nicely and was served by a lovely girl who took our drinks order and then our food order. The food was with us within 15minutes. The girl came over just to check everything was all well. At the end we asked for the bill and the girl was a polite girl. All staff are a delight and credit to the Croft as always. Thank you for having us and showing us on why we and lots others come back.

Staff were lovely! Really attentive and friendly, very willing to help, answer questions and get us drinks. Very aware of allergens and catered for gluten free, vegan! Had a separate gluten free menu with clear labelling of the vegan and vegetarian options. Very pleasantly surprised they catered for different dietary requirements as most pubs will not go into this much detail. Everyones food was lovely and would highly highly recommend :)

No stars! We waited 1 hour and 15 mins to be told by the waitress that they were just going to start cooking our food, absolutely attrocious. Just told them to cancel it. Just picked up domino's near by thank goodness.

Amazing food and fantastic service. The portion sizes are so good too ! Lovely menu, lots of variety and their homemade steak pie is out of this world ! Kids loved it too, the cutlery provided for the children is also thoughtful. So glad it's my local 😀

I had the Cajun chicken burger and it was delicious, felt safe with the new measures in place, staff were friendly and helpful as always
