Haven't been to a restaurant in a very long time due to covid. Naturally, I chose the Dhabba to ensure I had a superb meal with great service. As always, never fail to deliver great tasting food with lovely service and hospitality. If you are into good North Indian food, this is the place to go.My father is vegetarian and needless to say, the options available were great, unlike many places only offering a limited amount, you will have such a large variety to chose from here.

This Indian restaurant in Glasgow opens at 5 pm for dinner. It serves authentic Indian food with the right spices added. The meat was well cooked and it came with different textures. It is reasonably priced. The ambiance was good. We really enjoyed ourselves. You have to try this restaurant if you like Indian food. 🤗

Really average Indian food, from the opinion of an Indian who regularly eats and cooks Punjabi food.I started with the Dahi Bhalla - huge portion but average at best, I wanted more fresh onion, tomato, coriander, cucumber, like I have had many times before. It under delivered. My brother ordered the samosa chaat, it was the same sauces on both, nothing additional, not creative, average at best. (Pictures are attached, they look identical, lol)I also ordered the subzi tak-a-tak, has a flame beside it, couldn’t taste any spice, it was average. Also ordered the paneer makhani masala - paneer was delicious, the gravy was your average makhani, average at best. For dessert, I wanted a cha, but sad that an “authentic” Indian restaurant does not offer a punjabi cha. Ordered the kulfi instead, and it was delicious. The portions are good, but lacked flavour and spice. I am probably not the audience they are catering to. Staff was wonderful and were tipped according to their good service.

Next level service. Booked for my mothers birthday, the host/manager and staff were incredibly warm and helped us choose the right dishes. While the food was delicious, it was the incredibly human experience that will make me return to this place. Thanks for everything and merry Christmas.Martin

Somehow I only managed to take 1 photo but there were so many great dishes. We were a large group of maybe 14 people so to keep it simple we ordered a sampling menu so we could try several dishes. There was a vegan & someone who needed to be Gluten free in the group. The server was so helpful & attentive in accommodating these special dietary requirements. Amazing Indian food! Every dish. 💜

Best Indian food in Glasgow, in fact in Scotland I have tasted so far. Starters to main - all well prepared and following Indian cooking methods. Staff is friendly and provides good service, with a chance to marginally improve table service. Very close to 5 stars rating (4.5 stars for now).

Superb. Coeliac safe. Well informed about dietary needs and the contents of the menu. But, most of all, the best lamb dish I think I had, ever. Think about the vernacular Indian restaurant lamb dish and the quality and texture of the meat. Then imagine the tenderest lamb from a good marbled cut in a wonderfully flavoursome Indian sauce. Just excellent. Oh, then there's the Messi Roti. Try the gfdf bread and the in-house mixed pickle (tried to squeeze the proprietor for recipe hints.... Not telling. 😁)Delighted to have found this place.

Nice enough place.Just not as good as it was.Great service, cheery, helpful.Food quality not what it was.Now very poor value.£17 for a main course that had 5 pieces and maybe less than half a chicken breast in it isn't good value. Despite high st conditions.Would recommend but many other excellent Indian restaurants in Glasgow that are equally good or better and cheaper.Been going here for years. Not sure if it has new owners or management. Smells of the cheapening of produce after a takeover of what was a 5* place every time I visited previously.Probably my last visit.
