I was meeting a friend so i went and grabbed coffees for us with my daughter who was still in the buggy at the time. Food and coffee is ridiculously overpriced. I was struggling to get the buggy out the tiny door way and not 1 person offered to help me or offer to carry out the coffee's. I had to come back for the coffee's. Even when i asked could i come back for the coffee's no one offered to help. The staff are not always the most friendly. I love pollock park but will not be back to the café.

Lovely cafe with good atmosphere in pollock. Good coffee after a long walk around.

Very nice food , if a tad pricey. Outdoor seating at back which makes it dog friendly. Access to toilets with mask for covid.

Staff were lovely, I see people complaining about price but it's a cafe in an old country park, in a lovely building. I don't know what they were expecting. regardless the cost is worth it for the enviroment you get to enjoy it in

Good selection of hot drinks and snacks, however quite pricey. Unfortunately the person serving wasn't washing their hands after taking cash then serving the drinks (and placing the lids on the drinks) which isn't great during covid times

Really unimpressed with takeaway service!Queued for 10 minutes on Saturday for a coffee, only for the young woman serving to announce it was 4pm and they were closing. (we checked the time and it wasn't quite 4pm either)We could have been notified before we queued, or she should have served those who were in line. We were next to be served and there was no apology just bad service.

Went for a coffe to drink outside, I didn't see any sign that dogs are not allowed. You assume that the coffee shop in a park must be dog friendly. Once I was inside, one of the waitresses came running towards me, raising her voice telling me to leave as they don't allow dogs inside and told me to leave the dog unattended outside if I want to order coffee. Ok, that's the policy, I take it, but the way she made me feel humiliated, kicking me out and raising her voice, when there were people inside not wearing face coverings.

Visited on a busy bank holiday weekend and understandably the service was hurried though professional and friendly.Menu was varied, included sandwiches and a few bigger plates with a large offering for kids. Dishes were nice, nothing noteworthy but decent sized portions.Nice drinks selection - hot, cold and some beer/cider/wine.Pricing is at the higher end of cafe food, not sure that it was worth it given the lack of quality. The section of Pollock House it sits in is soaked in history and the decor reflects this, the outdoor seating is nicely done and is dog friendly.

Despite the sign stating that they were "dog compatible", I'd no sooner crossed the threshold of the cafe and I was abruptly told no dogs allowed. Hmmm.Worse still, sitting outside there was seating under outdoor heaters, but they weren't turned on ... and it was a frosty autumnal afternoon, with the sun low in the sky thus plunging the outdoor seating into shade ... and then we had to wait ... and wait ... and our order was sent to the wrong table ... and wait. When our order did appear, the coffee had been spilled all over saucer (I couldn't face another wait) and the teeny slither of carrot cake was tasteless.I would return again ... just to use their toilet and thus get a longer look at what appeared to be a lovely interior.
