The Ferry in Glasgow City

Food was lovely. Great value for money. Great night at the dinner and tribute. Booked already to go back.

Entertainment was great, great atmosphere aswell & friendly staff. Food was disapointing. Would go back again for the show

it was my 60th party. with 22 Freind waiting 45 minutes for drink. there had 1 girl serving told us we could not go up to bar our self. until we finish our meal. so I got 2 bottles of pesco we started drinking it because the girl serving was so bad. she was so rude and we spent over £200 in the first drink it was not coming fast enough meal was nice and the mucie was good so it was a spoil with service.

Decent venue. Plenty street parking near by. Prices for drinks changed everytime we went to the bar though, I assume due to inexperienced bar staff and them fighting over 1 till between the 4 of them.

Food very basic. No frills. Service very slow. Not enough staff. Entertainment very good. Still enjoyed our night

Went to see a Freddy Mercury tribute, on arrival we were refused entry and told to go to a local pub until 20:30 because we didn’t book a meal. I enquired about paying to have a meal and was told it would have to be booked, so i said what if i phone and book the meal and was told that i could not do that either. This was despite there being what i counted as twelve four seat tables available. When we got back to the Ferry we were seated at The back of the room even though there were empty tables that would have given us a better view of the tribute act. Unfortunately the act was mediocre doing a poor impression of the Queen front man. Overall our experience on the night was not very good. We probably wont bother going to this venue any time fast, purely based on the attitude of the staff present on the evening in question.

The place was excellent, food amazing. Bar prices average for Glasgow, however the waiting staff were poor, brought over wrong drinks and when we said it was wrong, she replied we have made the wrong drink up, so could you drink this and we will get you the correct one next round, she was serious too. Took away my liqueur which had some in it, when I asked where my drink was, same waitress replied, I took it away a few minutes ago thinking that it was empty, I said that it wasn't, she proceeded to go up to the bar, where my glass was and brought me back a glass which was on the bar, I reacted by telling her, that in a covid environment, did she expect me to drink out of a glass that had sat at a public bar for nearly 5 minutes, she replied, what do you want me to do.

Had a great night here at the rock of ages night.. I am a gold card member which makes it amazing value at only £14 for a 2 course meal and then live entertainment. Staff are very friendly and helpful

Had a wonderful night here for the Wishbone Ash gig...highly recommend it.. upper and lower viewing area, get there early if you are any a table on the "balcony"... Well managed and staff friendly and helpful...
