The Jasmin Cottage in Glasgow City

Ordered from here for years with no problems. The sent out a delivery without the chips i ordered and ruined the meal for everyone. Talked to the owner and asked for a refund, he told me not to order from there again. No problem I won’t. Shocking service, avoid this place.

Not as nice as it was a couple years back.Food - chicken balls, sometimes too crunchy sometimes way too soft. You get 12 tho.Salt n pepper chips - very nice. Good portion. Lots of peppers and onions.Curry - decent portion. Chicken can sometimes be too chewy. Sauce is either too dark and gloopy where it has flavour or your usual runny lighter type which never has an flavour. Rice is always fantastic tho, always dark and load of flavour.Chicken fried rice - rice is above but you get way to much of compared to the chicken . The ratio is way off. The chicken is usually great, cooked with lots of say sauce and juicy.Price - it has gotten rather pricey over the last year. Just under £10 for chicken balls, chips and a tub of sauce. And 2.50 delivery for me. There is cheaper around but there's also dearer.A Chinese 5mins away you would get the above with rice, prawn crackers ,- although there's 10 chicken balls but the portion of chips is much bigger for £11 including delivery.I haven't phoned or went in for food as the girl taking the order - if she's still there- is usually rather rude.Waiting time for home delivery. Usually between the 45-70 min mark. Can be longer at weekends. Drivers are usually polite and they willing to have a chat and laugh with you.

Food is always good, and fresh.

Curry was good and portion sizes were decent. Got the Thai spicy wings and they were absolutely disgusting, the smell and texture of the wings were abysmal and made me feel physically ill.

I have been a customer for many years. Food is delicious and prices are reasonable. The staff and delivery drivers are helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend you try it.

Absolutely disgusting don't deliver to flats after 10 so basically discrimination no valid reason.... we order out this place regularly will never be ordering again!!!!!!!!!

Always good takeaway, looks dated but you can see kitchen and it's clean.

I ordered my food late at night as i was hungry and so was my sister , put in a request for them no to ring the buzzer or chap the door but they did it anyways more than once and very loudly. The delivery driver couldn’t find my address and the women on phone was being very cheeky towards my sister. Food was cold and not the best Sorry.

Very disappointed used to go to jasmine it had a great curry very dark orange colour and full of flavour.... got a chicken curry and salt & pepper chicken everything was very bland! Curry was like water not one bit of flavour, salt & pepper chicken was soggy with water all in the bottoms of the tray no flavour or spice to it at all.. definitely changed from what it use to be like!!!
