Visited Glasgow & asked the hotel staff for recommendations & suggested The Merchant I wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere, the food, staff even the people who dined oh wow was great. Didn't feel like a stranger visiting which I ate there a few more times on my visit.

Cocktails are lovely here. The Cocktail trees are perfect for sharing. Great lively place to go in Glasgow.

·

Good atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. Can be a little busy at times on weekends to the extent there's not always seating available but then dies down drastically the closer to 11pm it gets with everyone heading onto clubs etc.

Couldn't fault it great staff. Food was good too. Booked a table in advance for the football. Easy to do on the app.

Popped in for a bite to eat and a few drinks. Atmosphere was good. It was busy and there are not many seats. Anyway, food was good, drinks reasonably priced. Staff friendly and all round nice experience. Worth a visit, get there before 5, not many tables

Reasonably priced food with special offers. Helpful staff. Managed to sort us out with some food just before the kitchen was due to close on Sunday evening 😊

Best pub in Glasgow, hands down. Was my regular while I lived there and never let me down in 3 years. The food is of great standard for pub grub and the prices are very reasonable for city centre. Perfect for a standard, no thrills night with friends.

Pub turns club on Friday nights.Great food and drinks selection and lovely bar staff. Unfortunately, the music was so loud you had to shout to have a conversation. Realistically, you'd only talk to one person at a time.I asked the DJ if he could turn it down even just a little bit, because I am out to hang out with my friends and we couldn't have a group conversation at that volume. He was extremely rude and said he is here to entertain people, so it's his job to keep the music at that level.. then he actually turned it up! We just moved to another place. It's a shame, because it seems like a good pub, why they try make it into a club on Friday/Sat nights is beyond me.

Was in for a couple of pints to watch the football and couldn’t have had better service! All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the pub had a great selection of drinks. Highly recommend for sport and pints, will be back very soon!
