The Raven in Glasgow City

Meant to make this review earlier on st patricks day. Food is good. Service is good. Then they go and give you the bill. A "discretionary service charge of 10% has been added to your bill, we were only 2 people, making that an extra tenner!checking the bill after I paid they also made us pay £0.50p for sauce, like really? put a bad taste into my mouth, being forced to tip and then shaken for every penny on the way out.I would have left a tip, but to insist on it and just add it onto your bill is terribly cheeky.

Amazing burgers, great beer, top service.We missed out on a burger of the week that looked exceptional. We messaged them for a booking the next week and (cheekily) asked if they could make us THAT burger.They only went and kept a set of the ingredients for us so that we didn't miss out.#HappyCustomer

Had food and drinks here on a Saturday night. The food was excellent, atmosphere good and service very attentive.Only qualm is the 10% obligatory charge for service. I’d rather see this added directly to the price of food for transparency, or if it’s going directly to the waiting staff as a tip, then this made clear and / or an option given upon payment to give a higher / lower tip.A good place to go though, and will definitely be back.

Absolutely packed for the rugby 🏉 Great atmosphere, staff are doing a great job especially as it's table service, not had to ask for drink, Well done! Will come back and recommend

Amazing staff especially and the best kind of service you can expect for. The taste of the food was amazing. There is not even a single word to comment negative about the place.

Had dinner and drinks on Saturday 23rd October 2021. Table booked for 5:30 and stayed the rest of the night. Staff were lovely, attentive never left waiting for a drink and when we had to give our table back at 7:30 they directed us to a cosy wee seat at the window and continued to provide table service. It was very busy and they were very hardworking and the fact they provided the service they did is to their credit. Well done team Raven. Food was good too x

Very tasty filling meal with very attentive and polite staff. Nice atmosphere for drinking after our meal where we spent the rest of the night with no pressure from staff to leave. Had the 400gram brisket, mac & cheese with pulled pork topper with side order of Cluck fries and onion rings. I would definitely recommend to anybody searching for BBQ flavoured food!

Decent selection of beer, ales, and some craft beers including a geuze (sour beer)Staff were really good and above expectations for a pub - they actually remembered that we had gone upstairs when there was limited seating and when a table cleared came and sought us out to see if we'd like to take the new opening about half an hour after we'd already been inside
