Unfortunately we went when Google said it was open and found the place boarded up and it looks like it’s another victim of the lockdown. Probably a great place to eat but unfortunately we will never find out.

It's been 17 years since I last visited this place. Missing Butter chicken and chicken tikka chashni, best dishes I have ever tasted.

Amazing experience! The food was simply delicious. We tried most of the non vegetarian options and enjoyed ourselves very much. Food came quickly, but everything was freshly cooked and tasty.Lovely decor and atmosphere. Attentive and really friendly service staff. Great food, generous portions, and all at very reasonable prices.

You could easily miss this first floor restaurant - and once you get past the fact that the front door leads you into the bar...it's a brilliant find! Tasty treats at good value, fusing traditional scottish flavours with the punchy, exotic spices of the East

My first visit to this small and intimate restaurant on Ashton Lane in Glasgow's West End good tasty flavoursome food but unfortunately no draft lager only bottles. I have also been to the sister restaurant in the city centre a number of times which I feel was just that little bit better.

Average, overpriced curry's with lacking service. The food looked like it was either heated in the microwave or left in the pass for too long. Used to be one of my favourites but my most recent visit will be my last.

The cutest little curry restaurant houses the biggest and boldest flavors! Absolutely charming little lane off of busy Byres Rd, this curry shop is hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had outside of India (and I lived in India for 3 months). Only qualm I would have is that it’s so wonderfully spiced and salty that you need to bump up your water intake to offset it!

Ordered a carry out after travelling from Glenrothes to visit a relative. Incredibly friendly staff. Hubby says his Vindaloo is excellent. My butter chicken is the best I have ever tasted. The rice is rich in cardamom, just how I like it! Must go to Glasgow more often!

Excellent curry in small independent concern.open 12 years this curry house has built up a great reputation for food and atmosphere. Limited menu just means that what you get is quality well worth a visit

I've been visiting this restaurant for several years now. In fact the food was so delightful and unusual that I have taken many friends there over the years. When Jamie was manager it had a wonderful atmosphere. However things have changed. I've recently returned from living in Spain and couldn't wait to visit what was my favourite restaurant. I went on Saturday with my husband and two friends visiting from London. Unfortunately we booked for 6pm. The first lamb dish we ordered was inedible, in fact we couldn't even cut it. They gave us another one which was slightly better but not as good as usual. We discovered that we really needed another dish which we duly ordered but while we were still eating at 7.30 we were asked to leave as guests were awaiting our table. Being well mannered and polite people we left the remains of our food and departed. In the past when we had a 7.30 or 8pm booking we have often been told that our table wasn't ready. In fact most times we visited we had to wait which we did without complaint. To be told to leave before we had finished as we were on Saturday and quite rudely too means that sadly it will be the last time we visit the Wee Curry Shop.
