We had really tasty Sunday dinner here. Big plateful of dinner filled even the hungriest of our company. Childs meal was same high quality as adult meals, and staff were happy to bring it out around the grown ups. Staff are friendly and efficient.Prices are reasonable too. We will certainly go again.

Had a nice meal here this evening and I'd recommend it. Served by two lovely waitresses, Julia and Laura, Laura in particular was very cheery and this always makes for a pleasant visit. Nice surroundings inside and lots of seating outside too which will be lovely in the summer as the restaurant is situated in some nice countryside.

The food was great. It was a busy day because it was Mother's Day. I know they are coming out of lockdown, but the waiting staff need to up their game. I don't know if the lad serving us was new to the job, but he really seemed out of his depth with such a busy day.

We had our Valentine’s Day lunch here and it was lovely. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely love visiting Tickled Trout. My boys, my husband and I are always greeted by friend and happy staff. This is a family favourite restaurant for over 9 years. The food and service are great.

Very welcoming and attentive staff, in very nice surroundings.Varied menu with a selection of staples and some slightly more unusual options at reasonable price.First time but not the last, thanks for a great meal.

I choose this place as I was meeting my aunt at the garden center. The place is fully dog friendly which is great and they really do allow the dogs to make themselves at home. Staff were lovely as was the food. Highly recommend

Was introduced at door, was told their was no tables only at a certain area near the bar, I did not know this was for dog owners. I wasn't directed to a table although it state's to wait to be seen to on arrival. To be left wondering about round dirty tables wondering where to sit. I asked a different staff member. if I could have our tables cleaned. She was kind enough to guide us to a table at the other side of the restaurant and apologise. I Ordered pate for starter and it was room temperature/warm, wasn't nice at all, weird smell. I always loved the fish and chips but the batter was flat and not fluffy/crispy. Not as nice as I thought it would be or as i remembered from previous visits. My auntie ordered garlic mushrooms for started which where nice. Fish also, but didn't enjoy. My mum ordered gammon stake which went down well so all good. Happy customer. The service at the table was nice and attentive can't fault it. Unfortunately I would not go back.

What a fantastic meal and welcome. The staff make a huge effort to make sure you feel comfortable and enjoy your meal. Even the dog was offered a very gourmet sounding menu!Fantastic food too (particularly the desserts!)
