It was ok - I found the initial booking process to be quite a hassle and then when we did eventually get a table it was quite underwhelming. The steaks were tasty but very thin and not charred on the outside while still being rare in the middle, I had asked for med rare and it was so thin it was more like med well. Just not what I expected. The sides were all mediocre and we didn’t like the deserts at all. All in all we wouldn’t return, sorry, just honest opinion.Response to owner - all other restaurants have online booking where you can view availability and book - This has nothing to do with restrictions. I wanted the steak medium rare, which I expected to be charred outside and rare in the middle. What I received was a rather thin steak (IMPO) grey on the outside with minimal pink in the middle. Hope that clarifies! But hey I’m the one in the wrong though - right? Reduced to one star due to your rude argumentative response.

We had visited Tiffneys a few times 3 years ago and were very impressed with both the service and quality of steaks. Tonight was the first time we had visited in 3 years and had been looking forward to our evening especially when the restaurant had cancelled our first booking due to COVID outbreak in the restaurant. Raymond the chef we knew a few years ago was no longer working there and we missed him coming over to the table with a selection of steaks and explaining the difference of each steak. The lamb starter had a piece of lamb smaller than my thumb and was tough, we ordered a 200g fillet which had tough sinew through it, my T Bone was good although not outstanding, we ordered desserts one which was cheese and biscuits but the waiter then said they had no cheeses and biscuits, very unusual for a restaurant and when the bill came we had been charged for a 300g fillet. When we challenged this the waiter apologised but didn’t alter the bill. I had left a £20 tip on the table but picked this back up something I would never usually do, disappointing experience for £190I am totally disgusted by the response from Tiffney's it is totally incorrect on a few frontsFirst I will not back down on the quality of the lamb tenderloin and I did not complain as this is the first time we had been served a dish which was not up to the standards we experienced on various previous visits to the restaurantSecond the waiter did ask me during my main course if everything was alright to which I responded yes which it was with my T-bone steak which I have already commented on but this was before my partner had found the issue with her fillet steak. We did complain about the quality of the fillet and pointed out the sinew or fat in the remains when the manager collected our platesThird it was very clear when we ordered the steak that it was a 200g steak and when I challenged the bill the waiter apologised and said in front of the manager that this was his mistakeFourth when I left I mentioned to my partner that I will not rush back so how the manager or waiter could hear what I said when they stood at the back of the restaurant and didn't even make the effort to see us out especially when we were the only people left in the restaurantLast I take it personal that I was accused of calling the waiter a little f....r, language I do not use in this environment and how this was overheard by several persons when we were last to leave the restaurant defeats me

Steak was fantastic, catered for around eight of us and was an unbelievable dining experience. Accomodated perfectly. Steaks were all cooked to perfection and the warm bread was lovely . Will be back definetly

Tiffney's at the moment feels like it could qualify for one Michelin Star and I would not be surprised if it gains this accolade in the near future. It is comfortably the best restaurant in Glasgow at the moment when it comes to fine dining.Steaks cooked to perfection and the ability to choose the precise weight of your cut is a nice touch.Even the best steakhouses tend to have a habit of offering poor quality food outside of the steaks themselves but the entire menu at Tiffney's was outstanding. It is clear that everything is truly homemade--the attention to detail and flavour profiles were sublime. The table service and setting are similarly excellent.

The best restaurant in Glasgow for steak! Great atmosphere and staff are amazing!Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else, the level of food and service you receive is out of this world. If you visit THE ONION RINGS ARE A MUST.

Fantastic meal for 4 ... fine dining without being pretentious. Not for every weekend as the bank balance will take a hit but a fantastic experience with exceptionally well prepared courses and desserts.Staff were excellent. Very professional, but not in your way, just there when needed.Thoroughly recommended.

Romantic place for a date night (dim lighting, adults only). We went last night and enjoyed everything - the server and host were great! The starters - scallops were amazing but the citrus salmon was out of this world 💥We both had the ribeyes with the bone marrow jus and they were fantastic. A glass of red Italian wine that was great (the wine the recommend on the menu) and everything was top notch.I highly suggest going here if you enjoy not being rushed, feeling at ease and wanting a dang good steak (I ate most of my steak without the sauce because the dry age flavor was 👌).And the desserts were great as well :)We will be back!

To me Tiffany is the new benchmark in beef!I have never had aged beef and had dinner there on my daughter’s birthday with a sense of adventure. After trying their 117 day aged sirloin I was totally blown away!True to promise the aged beef brought out an indescribably rich flavour (best accompanied by a nice merlot). The char-broiled exterior was flavourful and contrasted supremely with the soft (due to ageing) and succulent interior for my medium rare serving. To me, the mid to top range restaurants serving beef I have dined in all over the world including London, US, Holland, Singapore, Holland, Australia now pale in comparison. These include Mortons and Michelin starred establishments.I fear, hopefully without sounding overly melodramatic, that steaks will never be the same for me again. There was a review that said the steak cost £100 which is complete BS (no pun intended). Mine only came up to be about £25. He must have meant for a party of 2-3 including drinks.

Tiffneys must be the best if not one of the top 3 steakhouse's in Glasgow. Fantastic service, lovely wine and cocktails and a great choice of meat. Lovely setting, very intimate feeling. Knowledgeable about gluten free/coeliac which can be a hard thing to be reassured about and the chef came out to ask us how the meal was after we finished. Great personal touch.

Fantastic meat cuts expertly grilled - one of the very best. Very friendly staff and quality dishes with great wines and cocktails. Lovely laid back atmosphere with proper lighting and unobtrusive music. Definitely make a reservation as it can be busy but it's worth it!
