Terrible service, hugely rude staff, completely messed the bill up and very long wait for food - DO NOT GO HERE. They claimed we underpaid and when we said no problem we’ll settle the manager simply wouldn’t take our money and instead insisted on taking out of the tips for the staff. Awful establishment, please save yourself the hassle and do not give them your hard earned money. Worst customer service experience ever.

Food was lovely but the service left much to be desired. One person had half their food forgotten. Mysterious items turned up that no one ordered. And I had a full pint of beer spilled over my leg and then I had to chase for a replacement. The spill wasn't the server's fault (accidents happen) but it definitely cemented an unpleasant experience and again, the surrounding service was very poor.

Went on a Tuesday night when all their tapas is £2.50. I enjoyed the food but the service was awful, we were told we had 1 hour and 10 mins until the table was needed back but we were meant to have the table for 90 mins. When I asked if we could order dessert another waitress rudely put the bill on the table. We then asked if we could get dessert to take-away and they initially said yes but we would have to wait outside. We then proceeded to wait outside then they told us we couldn't have dessert anymore! Won't be back.

Fine food, worst service experience of my life, absolutely beyond words. Chaos doesn't cover it.Saw the recent terrible reviews but were really in the mood for tapas so booked a table for our last night on holiday, prepared for a 1-2 hour wait for food as warned (which we also experienced, it was one hour from ordering to eating, which is obviously not the end of the world but worth noting if planning to dine here).Staff were friendly in the beginning, we ordered three bottles of wine for seven of us. One hour later, half our food arrived. After another ten minutes, more arrived including two dishes we hadn't ordered, and two we had ordered were missing. We sent back the two we hadn't ordered, but the waitress said we may as well have them which was lovely. Those dishes (goats cheese) were actually nicer than anything else we had, most of which was bang average tapas. Filled a hole, but some dishes quite tasteless (would recommend - goat's cheese, pollo di cante)After about another 15 minutes, we finally received the two dishes we had ordered. At this point (1.5 hours after ordering) we didn't really want them any more, and they were also quite tasteless.During the meal, we asked for water three times before it came, and had to ask for the bill twice. The bill came, and the chaos ensued. One pair ordered a tempranillo wine (£15.95) but had been charged for a rioja (£23.95). It turns out, there were two tempranillos on the menu, and we'd been given the more expensive one (£19.95) (which definitely wasn't the rioja we'd been charged £24 for also, to be clear!).We explained the wine on the bill wasn't the one we ordered (and we'd pointed clearly to the tempranillo we wanted on the menu when ordering). Despite trying to charge us for a completely different wine and bringing us the wrong one, the waitress said 'well, you drank it so you need to pay it' and that it was our fault because 'when I go to a restaurant, I always check the wine is the right one' - sorry, what?! Really odd to think this is the customer's job and be so adamant over £2.50. In the end, we said fine, we'll pay for the wine we didn't order. We split the bill between us, with four of us rounding up what we owed by £1 or £2, adding up to a total of £6 tip. The service had been slow, incorrect and we'd argued with the waitress over her mistakes, so not really deserving of any tip, but a few of us were happy to contribute slightly, out of habit more than anything. After we'd all paid by card, we asked the waitress if she was happy all was accounted for (sometimes tricky to work out who owes what as we were sharing dishes so wanted to check that had all added up to the total amount, and then some as we'd tipped!) She said 'Probably, I can't check' and went back inside the restaurant. After about five minutes, no-one had come back so we collected our things, and some of the group went to the shop so we waited for them by the restaurant. After another five minutes of waiting nearby, another waitress (or the manager?) came out and said we'd underpaid by £6. We apologised and got a card out to pay, when she said 'forget it. We thought the service had been good, but you've underpaid us and not left a service tip'. We said again, please get the card machine as it's completely our mistake, we must have added up wrong as we'd rounded up to make a tip too, we'll absolutely pay the difference. Three people had their cards out trying to pay this £6, and she was refusing?! She said we were a 'hassle' as we were a table of seven, even though we'd booked ahead so they knew we were coming, and hadn't asked for much, other than the food and drinks we ordered! It was absolutely a hassle I agree, but every single mistake was theirs.I keep remembering other stupendously chaotic things - prices on the bill were different to the menu?!Honestly, the whole walk back to our hotel we were in disbelief. Never had an experience like it! Why wouldn't she just let us pay the difference?! Definitely not worth the hassle for the 4/10 food. Avoid.

I've been here recently on a Sunday night, with two friends; one of them had already been at the restaurant once and although she warned us that she had waited a long time for her food, she wanted us to try it. The place looked quite cozy, however a bit crammed as stated in some other reviews. When I went to the toilet, at the back of the room, it all seemed pretty dark and it took me a minute to figure out where the toilet door was, since it's all painted in black. We arrived and sat at around 8:00 pm and ordered within fifteen minutes; altogether we ordered about ten small dishes and at least half of them were quite basic, like fried potatoes or bread spread with some special sauce. The first dish came after thirty or forty minutes and the last arrived about an hour and half since we ordered, which basically made us leave hungrier than we were in the beginning. We had to send back one dish because it was prepared in a different way than we had ordered, and also two bowls of potatoes that weren't cooked thoroughly. I ordered freshly made hummus, which came with two small strips of pitta bread and it honestly felt less than acceptable. Overall, one sauce that was supposed to accompany the bread, never came, another dish never came and we eventually asked to cancel it from the order, three dishes were sent back and all the food took way too much time to arrive. When we got the bill, they had included the dish we never got and another one had been swapped with something else. My final thoughts are that the service is insanely slow, the food is average and portions are quite small, which make seem the whole experience overpriced and disappointing. Despite the fairly professional attitude of the staff, which was the only positive note, I've definitely had a negative experience here. I won't be going back to Tinto and I wouldn't recommend it.

This is a great place... to catch COVID! I've been out to a few restaurants since things started opening up, and it's a nervous experience but everywhere I've been has taken measurements in terms of distancing, and numbers, and hygiene that at least make you feel more secure. Not this place! First, this is the first restaurant I've been to that doesn't ask you to fill in your details for track and trace. Second, the restaurant is packed! I booked a table for two and we were literally shown to a table that another couple (strangers to us) were at and expected to sit maybe 30cm from them. It was actually unbelievable. The other couple weren't too happy either! I felt bad about the whole experience because for like 15 months I have followed all the rules etc even if you can never be 100% when you shop, eat out etc, but this was the one time I've thought "I wish I hadn't done that." Food was fine, and I appreciate that restaurants have had a hard time this last year, but I would not go back until COVID is long gone.

This was our first visit here on a warm Easter evening. I felt I was abroad when I entered lively atmosphere, friendly welcome. Menu choice was vast and what we ordered was piping hot! Meatballs,Calamari, Mozzarella stick were gorgeous,Salad,Ribs to die for!,garlic bread, chicken dish all came in mini tapas pots. Highly recommended on issue it was extremely cramped with tables so close together. Won't stop us returning.
