YO! Sushi - Silverburn Glasgow in Glasgow City

I love sushi. We used to love going to YoSushi.We stopped eating in the restaurants when they reduced their wine offering to foil lidded plastic cups.Today I travelled 20 miles from my home town to buy takeaway food from them but all they had was salmon. No fresh tuna, no sharing platters.I waited 20 mins for the hand rolls and desserts I'd ordered and paid for.This brand seems to be offering less and less.Huge disappointment.

Had to book.✔The online menu didn't have all the details (spicy etc)❌Then had to order on app ? 3 of us and paying each time we wanted something , so 5 lots of payments coming out in bits❌Probably would have had more if it wasn't such a faf!!! Won't bother going back till it opens properly.😥

Booked a table in advanced. Was told when we got there that they need to keep the booths for groups of more than 2. Was told could only sit at stools. There was at least 6 tables free. Didn't understand as I had reserved a table why couldn't we just get 1. Especially as there was plenty available. Sat and had our meal. Food was good. Ordered some drinks and a jug of water. Got a glass of water which felt was just chucked at us. No customer service and felt more of hindrance if being honest. They then sit 2 people at a booth and as we left our meal there was still plenty of booths left. No friendly service at all and will not return. Never had any issues in the City Centre one.

We used to love yo sushi but not now. Menu is now greatly reduced in options and flavours. Can of juice (Fanta) excessively priced at £2.80. Katsu curry large portion is much smaller than it used to be. No noodles on menu now. Reduced rice options. Just felt like a lot less options. Chips were barely warm.Real dissapointment for something that we used to enjoy going to so often. Lost its way.

Self service at the moment but nice big booths which was good as I was with a 7 month pregnant lady. Best to book table ahead as it is very popular

Food was nice, pricey however for mid mall eating, it's not exactly a private place to eat, open all sides with shoppers walking by (just my opinion)

Always busy but food is up to scratch, vegan options are great. Kids menu could be better, plus kids bento box doesn't have vegan options. Apart from that it really is a firm favourite with the kids.

Being told to order via an App when you arrive at your table, just doesn’t cut it. Not anymore. Especially when it doesn’t work. What happened to the ‘experience’. If you can’t be bothered taking my order, you don’t care enough. So, neither do I.

Tbh it's not really good because the sushi don't look nice and they don't even put vinegar in it, it's the most important and traditional step for Japanese sushi, and the rice is not even cool. Thats not a good sushi.

First time ever going to Yo! Sushi and I absolutely loved it. It was a bit on the pricey side but the food was lovely. You just scan the QR code on your phone, order your food and it comes within minutes. Great taste and good portion size. Highly recommend
