Visited this supposedly Italian restaurant recently for lunch. The bruschetta starter was not served with toasted bread and was just on a soggy base of sourdough with loads of cherry tomatoes with oil dressing, the main course of wild boar meatball dish had no balls, just hints of spiced minced beef lost in some base, this was an insult to Italian cuisine. They need to invest in chefs that know what is required, training or past experience of this type of traditional cuisine is s must. I for one will not return to Zizzi's. on this effort. Mr McFarlane.

Nice restaurant in respect of atmosphere, food not to my liking, starter was luke warm, main was nice but hard to get spaghetti bolognese wrong, dessert was horrible and cappuccino was cold, area where food is cooked is right out in the middle of the restaurant so there should be no excuse for cold food or coffee unfortunately can't recommend and won't be back

Although the food was tasty, the speedy ordering service seems not to have worked. Two meals failed to arrive and I had finished mine by the time they sorted it out. Also failed to notice that only two from a table of.four were eating.

One of the best Italian restaurant in town, the food is absolutely delicious , favourite pasta is the Casareccia Pollo Piccante & my favourite Pizza is the Rustica Piccante , both highly recommend if you get the chance to visit.Ordering through Speedy Oder is absolutely flawless and very easy, food arrived really fast everything was hot and fresh. Staff are really super friendly and the service was fantastic.Overall an excellent lovely experience as always with Zizzi .

A hidden gem! Just one street back you'll find this fantastic Italian restaurant. The food really is superb, the prices are good and the kids menu is excellent. Really helpful and friendly staff with the unique interior added to the great food make this far more than just a refuelling station. It is excellent.

Great place for people with allergies like me. They have gluten free, vegan options and quite tasty. The staff is proactive and kind. You also get good value for money, not very expensive. Recommend

I was looking forward to a nice dinner with a group of 5. The waitress was very nice and she remembered all our dishes without writing them down! The starter was cold. We received them very shortly. The waitress apologized for that. I guess it was all just warmed up instead of made freshly. We got the olivesas a starter. They only provided toothpicks. No oil, bread etc. The pizza and the pasta dishes tasted mediocre. We didn't get offered any parmesan. The desserts are very rich and very tasty! I can recommend them. The kitchen staff didn't spend any time on making the dishes look good. You can tell/taste that zizzi's is part of a chain.Quite expensive for what you get. We paid 150£ for 5 people.
