Ben And Sue Chinese Takeaway in Inverclyde

Over a year or so I have ordered 14 meals from Ben & Sue using the app. I have Coeliac disease so always order gluten free (GF). Every meal has been fantastic. Any time I’ve had any queries I get an incredibly quick response to my emails and a positive resolution. So as well as excellent food they have excellent customer service. Would highly recommend, the food is well priced, tasty and excellent.

Standard food, boiled beef like rubber, chicken overcooked at times, typical fast food experience expectant in a housing scheme in the East end of town. Uses smallest 500ml cartons in the town for smallest portions and maximum profit, every other take away still use 650ml cartons so I am sorry if you feel I am victimising you by pointing out some facts?A bit expensive considering smallest portion size and that 10p for a 1p bag for HOT food is a joke even if our democratic government enforces you do it! Wow.1000% bag profit!Seen a child buy a boiling hot soup and the wee dude demanded 10p off her to put it in a 1p bag!!! HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUE, ASKS THE QUESTION SHOULD THESE PROFITEERS BE SELLING BOILING HOT FOOD TO CHILDREN?**UPDATE** THE PAINTERS HAVE BEEN IN. Nicely cleaned up. Painted inside, outside and the windows been washed too. What a difference. What about the kitchen,.can I say that or am I picking on you?THAT 10p FOR A BAG FOR PRODUCTS TOO HOT TO HANDLE (@1000% PROFIT) IS A NO GO RIP OFF THO AND DOESN'T REDUCE THE USE OF SINGLE USE BAGS IN ANY WAY.Has your bag usage went down OR have you just made a small fortune whacking everyone ten pence for a bag? You don't have to answer this!Me not picking on you. Me point out facts. Me said yer shop was filthy and not decorated in 40 years, you decorated and washed window. The victim card, or sympathy vote no good. As a responsible person making thousands of pounds profit I would never have given a child a boiling hot soup demanding 10p for a bag in the name of government legislation.What next, the race card???Stating facts is not victimisation.Start me!Owners talk pages of trash to justify bad business options. Place was stinking of damp, not decorated for 40 years nor very clean. Pointed this out and one half of the stinking shop was decorated/cleaned. A peek in that kitchen door and you wonder how they pass local council hygiene results.... Facts!

Absolutely shocking, nearly 2 hours wait and cold food. Won't be using Ben and Sue again Female call handler not helpful at all, just says it will be there soon no matter how many times you call. Disaster

This is one the best Chinese Takeaways in Greenock. The food is delicious and the salt and chilli chips are amazing. My hubby always gets an omelette and he says there's is the best aswell!! The meat in my Special Curry is so tasty and top quality and the sauce itself is lovely. Highly Recommended xUPDATE..I haven't been here for a long time!! Don't know if it's the same but same owners I'm sure

The vegan menu is amazing! So nice to have a place where I can trust that my food will not be contaminated with animal products. I usually order noodles with veg and pulled chickun and have not been disappointed! Good prices, timely delivery, nice drivers and the food is fab! Will deffo be back!

I would just like to say what brilliant customer service, my car broke down on the way to collect my takeaway, I called to let them know that I would be late for my food as AA would be a while before they got to me, 2 hours later I arrived to collect my food and was asked if I could wait 2 minutes so they could make my order so it was fresh and hot, absolutely brilliant service and food was fantastic as always, thank you

Honestly, one of the best Chinese places I've ever went to. Food always tastes amazing & never disappoints. Their service is always spot on.I'm vegetarian & they're always so thoughtful to provide alternatices to prawn crackers.Even today was my 32nd birthday which I shared with them as I was ordering in for my birthday meal - they gave me a birthday card wishing me happy birthday from the team & some vegan ice cream. Honestly, the folks there are just amazing & the food is always worth the money.

Wow, what can I say, been avoiding Chinese takeaway since becoming a veggie a couple of years ago as normally limited menu, couldn't believe the menu options here and gave it a shot. Everything was tasty and gave me the Chinese takeaway I was missing. Also got prawn cracker alternatives which is something I have never seen. Spot on, cheers.

Been coming here for years the food is fantastic. Love the hakka crispy beef. love ordering online as its soo easy, anytime my delivery was late they always offer me a gift voucher for my next order, I don't know any other takeaways that do this! well done to the friendly team!

Adore all the vegan options and they even gave me a little bag of seaweed crisps as I can't have prawn crackers! Deliver is sometimes slow but it's always worth the wait!
