Fantastic Restaurant with beautiful views of the River Clyde. Watched boats and submarine sail past, whilst enjoying a delicious meal at the Continental, highly recommended 5 stars 😀👍

Nice lunch. Good choice of menu and reasonably priced. Staff nice & friendly and good COVID measures in place. We were really lucky to get a table as it was very, very busy and at least 20 people were turned away after we got seated. This was a Saturday (afternoon) so I think it would be wise to book a table as it's obviously a really popular place.

A best restaurant & pub in town! This restaurant has a stunning ocean view. Foods are good. I’ve had pasta, fish and chips, sandwiches and a waffle before and they are all lovely. Most importantly, staffs are fantastic. All really friendly and lovely. This restaurant us usually busy so recommend you to make a reservation before!

Busy place for food. Options are more like bar food than restaurant / bistro. Casual dining for sure. Unfortunately I had a pretty poor Mac n cheese. No flavour or seasoning. Credit to the staff as they sorted it out for me and i did get a tasty dish the second time of asking. Staff were friendly. They do not accept amex. Fish and chips were nice too as were the sweet potato fries.Burgers looked deflated and unappealing I'm sorry to say. It's been a while since I've been in and it seems to have lost its sparkle for me.

Cracking views if you can get a window seat! Tried and tested formula as has been the same for years and still has that familiar, welcoming atmosphere and does not feel dated. Good food, good value, great service!

Lovely cafe&bar. Can sit near bar/front entrance or up through back windowed area overlooking sea...Recommend booking there first. Clean nice toilets. Staff very friendly and very accommodating. Food lovely. We always get the soup and crusty roll..

This place has been going for years. I remember going the in the 60s. Always a nice place for a coffee. Get a table near the window. I took this photo from there last week.

We were looking for a light early Sunday lunch without a booking. Good brew was busy but Cafe Continental was quiet. Dog-friendly on the street-facing side, so missed out a bit on the lovely views of the river, but service was pleasant and the soup of the day and the chilli nachos were excellent. Would come again.

We picked this place randomly, while passing through Gourock and it was a good choice. Their beef burger is just amazing. The chips are perfectly crispy. Staff is fantastic, helpful. Highly recommended if you are in the area!!
