Happened to pass by and decided to pop in.The welcome was fantastic and even though we hadn't booked we were shown a table straight away. The starter was simply fantastic and that set us up for the main course. The food is amazing and I would recommend this to any curry lovers. You will not be disappointed.

I've had takeaway from here a few times. The service is fast service and the food is really nice but I'm dropping a star because they use of horrible hard plastic tupperwear tubs that are impossible to recycle.Balbirs just along the road from here use lovely recyclable paper boxes for their takeaway, much preferable!

We’ve used the takeaway service regularly for the last year but the service on January 2nd was really poor. When I arrived to pick up the order the manager seemed very busy and he was unhelpful and rude when I arrived to pick up our meal. The young receptionist did her best to be helpful but the order was sitting on a shelf for some time . When he eventually handed over the order the food was at best lukewarm. When I got it home the vegetable pakora was burnt black. I’ll need to find another restaurant for our regular curry in 2022.

Just ordered a king prawn korma with boiled rice at £16.50 for one person not impressed at all. All watery sauce and few prawns absolutely over priced I will not be returning and will not recommend.

Have been having takeaways since march last year and they have never let me down. Hands down the best one in town with their authentic flavour and dishes that never seem to get boring.

I've had many takeaways from AF but the most recent occasions have been far away from the high quality that I know they can produce.Quality diminishes the moment they get busy but yet they never seem to want to maintain the quality of their orders in favour of fulfilling as many as possible.Portion sizes are getting smaller and now one must carefully select through the menu to find value. I'd recommend to avoid the starters: they don't score well with cost against quality and value.Estimated delivery / pick up times area a bug bear as these short times are often doubled or tripled. I value my time and I have been kept waiting too long.

Food here was absolutely delicious. Had a mint and yoghurt curry that I'd never heard of before that'd couldn't have been nicer. Would definitely return to try some of the other unique dishes on the menu, there were plenty!

Ate in this branch of Ashoka for the first time with family last month. It was a warm, sunny evening and the staff were fantastic. They served us quickly and offered great advice. They were following Covid guidelines so we felt safe too!We ate using the 5pm menu which was a good price and included a drink. The food was just brilliant. Everything was so fresh and tasty!

I have been to most of the Indian restaurants in town searching for delicious Indian food. I'm Indian, and I'm very picky. I've noticed many of the restaurants simply put too much oil or drown their food in so much spice that there is no real flavor to enjoy. After multiple visits to Ashoka, I can easily say they serve the best Indian food in Glasgow. Each dish is delicately seasoned, offers distinct flavors, and is presented beautifully. Whilst being Indian, I cannot tolerate too much spice and the staff is always great about letting me know which dishes can be adjusted to meet those needs.Additionally, the restaurant itself is lovely. There's a beautiful ambience to it and great attention has been paid to its decor. This includes the elegant menus that also offer details on the ingredients of their dishes. Finally, the team at Ashoka is always kind and welcoming. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Bit confused to negative comments for delivery as food has always been warm for us and we live quite far out? Food is delicious. Nice range for every type of dietary requirements. Side portion in my opinion was massive so for one person it's plenty, just greed otherwise if you think it's too small so didn't understand that comment! Main is good for two people. Nan bread is so yummy. We got the Tarka Dal main size with rice which was so tasty and not too spicy (I'm not good with spice) Tried the tofu pakora which was great! Boyfriend liked his chicken pakora. Ordered from here a couple of times no issues, don't mind the wait (which was about 30ish mins and isnt really long as it's freshly made and has to get here) delivery people have always been polite and pleasant. I'd at least recommend you try it once before relying on people's harsh judgements as this is my new favourite place for curries now.
