My partner and I went for the carvery on Sunday afternoon, and it was great! Greg was our server, and he was very attentive and polite. We come here often, and it never disappoints. It's a shame you no longer do the free refills on Pepei Max and Tango, but for great food and value for money, it's definitely a great place to visit.

Love this pub/restaurant staff very friendly. Partner & I popped in for impromptu drink as good weather. Quick service along with hot fresh starter to share. Mags happily has a smile & chat for everyone. Love it.

Had chicken with my partner yesterday in this place and we are both very ill from late lastnight and still feeling awful, The walls are matted with oily finger prints (looks disgusting) was the first thing I noticed when I sat down. It's sad really as it really looks amazing outside, inside needs to be looked at and revive the look of the place aswell as change those god awful tables and chairs, looks similar to a fast food restaraunt, back to the issue at hand and the reason I am leaving this review, myself and my partner are ill after eating the chicken (not carvery) and simply won't be a returning customer but hope the management reading this takes the steps to ensure any possible cross contamination be eliminated or the use of out of date poultry. My partner has had to cancel her day with her mother on mothers day as she is constantly sick and number 2 as am I but my mother is no longer with us so it's not really a bad thing for me but she is really upset about not being able to go to her planned day with her family.

The items on the carvery, were cold, so it was really disappointing, as they had a good selection to choose from. They also don't have a very good dessert menu, not a lot of choice.Defo, not good value for money.Questionable, if I would return again.

The food was lovely apart from my roast beef which was so tough that I couldn’t cut it and the roast potatoes were hard .I liked the fact that you had turnip in your carvery. I enjoyed everything else and will definitely return

I haven't eaten here but friends said it was an amazing mixed grill. I have drank here on several occasions and the staff are really wonderful. A local pub feel; friendly, welcoming, attentive and amazing service with a smile. Well played to all the staff 👏

Service was decent, place was clean. Food was poor, my wife got the Carvery but it was of poor quality, I got a burger which was cheap burger patty's that I'm sure were deep fried with cheap processed cheese. Starters of brie wedges and chicken tenders were nice all be it quite oily. Haven't been for a couple of years and this is the reason why, hoping it was better as I know they had been advertising for new managers and chef's, sadly it's made no difference.

Run down with broken fixtures, also the food was terrible, they are selling a "carvery" that is prepared behind closed doors in the kitchen with microwave meats etc, the gannon is redicilous, iv had thicker rashers of bacon , literally like a slice of cheap packaged sandwich ham, will not return and would reccomend people to go to much better places in the area for food
