Ordered food at 17:25 phoned at 18:45 to get an update to be told it was put through as a collection. The girl on the phone was so rude as I asked for a fresh order to be delivered but she told me it hadn’t been sitting that long only from 18:00. She then went on to tell me it had only been sitting for ten minutes. I then phoned back to cancel the order as she said it was not getting made fresh as there was nothing in my order that could go soggy. So she expected me to pay £40 for food that sat for an hour then told me it was my fault I didn’t collect the order.Attitude was disgusting you should never speak to customers like that. I will not be ordering from here again.RUDE

Fed up trying to order at about 10 o'clock Friday and Saturday but always we have just closed but time on menu says 11 o'clock bad news Tony get a grip of your staff just looked at web page and it says OPEN 😑

Ordered at 5.30p.m.and still had no delivery by 8p.m. despite several phone calls. Promises he "was just around the corner". I need to eat at regular times due to condition. They cannot be trusted.

Absolutely love this place. Big fan pf their egg fried rice, curry sauce and chicken. Staff service is great, too.

Been there a few times this year and the food was well prepared and tasty but the last time I went it was inedible, the noodles were like mush, had to throw the whole thing in the bin. Nasty food

Have used this carry out establishment for some years, however in the last few weeks something has changed and not for better. I asked the counter staff if a new chef had been brought onto the staff, the answer was a definite no to any new staff. I always order the same thing, so I know what to expect. Sze Cheun beef used to have a rich thick sauce, over the last 4 weeks the sauce changed to a watery consistency and the beef was washed out. This week the sauce changed again, an abundance of grated carrots together with what appeared to be a massive amount of sugar added to the sauce. The whole meal was ruined as it tasted more like dessert rather than a savoury dish. As previously commented by other reviews, the girls taking the orders are 1st class however any constructive comments are falling on deaf ears. Real shame, as it is very handy for town centre.Anyone know of a good Chinese carry out in Cumbernauld which makes good Sze Cheun dishes.

So the first time I ordered from here 2 or so weeks back the food was delicious! Salt and Chilli chips were some of the best I'd had. The Vegan vegetables In black bean sauce was also one of the best I'd had. Ordered again the next day and the quality was not great. This time I got the vegetable Kung Po which was literally inedible - oily, sour tasting and very bitter. Tasted very off as though something in it was expired. The salt and Chilli chips weren't as good. Gave them another shot tonight and our order was messed up as they gave us normal oven chips not Salt and Chilli. The black bean sauce was very bitter and bland. SO disappointed. The rice portion was smaller than what we usually get. I tried to call back at 10:10 pm but no one answered the phone. Won't be ordering from here again.

Went to 1a wok and ordered a simple plain chicken chow mein, chips and curry sauce. Chicken chow mein arrived smothered in some kind of weird unknown sauce. When I phoned up the lady on the other end was exyremly helpful however when spoken to her boss, I could hear him being rude. If I order something g plain - I do not expect to be lied to about the cooking process.. we cook Chinese alot. And no chow mein is not cooked in a mad thick gooey sauce. That's not hows its made. Excluson of chips n curry sauce - total waste of 12quid... ya 12quid.. with a refusal to sort out THEIR mistake for a paying customer. Front of house staff were lovely however actual food and management let the place down. Do not waste your money.. as if they cook it wrong.. they'll blame you, refuse to fix the problem and you'll be left hungry and out of pocket!! 3/10...

The food is very well priced and tastes great. The staff are amazing really kind and helpful.. Staff always happy to help.
