Angelos in North Lanarkshire

Been here a few times usually quite good. Service bit slow tonight. Steak was bit fatty chicken was cold. Was pretty busy but not what I expected. We will go back as enjoyed the last few times we have been there

Had a birthday get together for 6 adults and 1 child in high chair for 14.30. Booked in plenty of advance.On arrival at the restaurant we were shown to our table that was set for 5 adults. I went and spoke with the man at the door and he stated this had been booked for 6 adults and 1 child in high chair. The man stated it was fine he would pull up an extra chair and get a high chair. The table was small and did not fit all 7 in the party. The high chair was out from the table and people kept tripping on the leg pulling it away from the table and almost causing it to tip over on a few occasions. The cairns were also away from the table due to everyone squeezeing in causing people to trip over these also.The food was great but it was very off putting that we were all squished around a small table.We spoke to the female who was waiting the table and she was very apologetic and asked if we had said anything when arriving at the restaurant witch we had and were told there was nothing else. There was another 2 party's of 4 that came in round the same time as us and had been seated at bigger tables.

We decided to book a table for dinner at Angel’s when my family were visiting from London. The food was great, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant decor is also finished to a really nice standard. I would have left 5 stars, however, our drinks took longer than expected to arrive at our table, the staff also forgot to bring bottles of still water for the table when asked two times. The whiskey that was also ordered at the end of the night was served in a very scratched and cheap glass, along with another of the same glass filled with water (impossible to pour with). Tad frustrating when in the company of whiskey lovers. Maybe a little bit of staff training surrounding the great selection of whiskeys on the menu wouldn't go a miss? Other than that, we had a great night, and will definitely book again in the future.

Delicious family meal. Not been over to Angels for a few years due to the pandemic but the welcome, and excellent food in comfortable surroundings are the same as always. Keep up the good work.

First class service quality food great prices and great menu. 2 fir 1 is a great deal .went wed 5th Jan.. Comfortable relaxed atmosphere.. we had lentil soup. Delicious. I had the chicken it was so tender and veg so tasty and crunchy ..my partner had beef olives he said was delicious .. we recommend to all family n friends.. our first time in angels was November then went back had a lovely Christmas meal in December.. then again yesterday . I had a family get together with 9 adults 2 young boys and a little 1 year old. We had a brilliant afternoon with great hot tasty food and excellent table service with very pleasant and professional staff. Food great service great staff great, yes there could have Been a family discount as drinks are expensive that would have been a 10 and not a 9.

Had lunch today with 3 friends, food was lovely but service was very very poor. No one came to ask if we wanted a drink at any point, and we had to shout for their attention each time, then the orders were wrong. Waited an hour for the dessert menu, and also waited 45mins for our bill to come out. Always had a decent experience here but today was very disappointing.

Lovely wee hotel, love the name, the decor was lovely and the staff were great. Mix up with rooms after we'd checked in but the manager went above and beyond to sort it out and room was sorted. Had a lovely evening meal, first class food and service, as was breakfast the next morning. Would definitely stay again next time we're over, 10/10 for the Angels Hotel.

Booked a table for family get together, love the newly decorated restaurant, very modern and comfortable seating. Well looked after by staff, busy but still manage to keep us topped up when ever we asked. Delicious food, on the varied menu.

There were four of us and from the start the service was first class. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave good recommendations for what to order from the menu.The starters were great, the haggis scotch egg with the whisky sauce was superb.One of our party was vegetarian and really enjoyed the spicy humus.My main was beef olives with a peppercorn sauce with black pudding mash and it was fantastic.I want a sweet but I was too full from the mains.I would highly recommend Angels to anyone as its a fantastic restaurant.
