We booked Sunday lunch in advance for a table for two. On arrival, there was no one to show us to our table, eventually the lady who greeted us was not the least bit friendly. In fact downright rude and wanted us to sit on what can only be described as on the end of else’s table. There was hardly breathing space between the two tables which was unacceptable. She then disappeared and my partner and I went and sat at another table and was quickly advised that we couldn’t sit there in a really rude manner. We eventually were told that the only place available was the bar area despite booking in advance. We have been to Broadwood Farm many times and usually are greeted by a lovely gentleman on the door who is extremely courteous and this time our greeting was somewhat rude and unacceptable. Even the staff looked uncomfortable. The food itself was okay but the stuffing was dried out and the veg had obviously been lying out. The bar staff were extremely helpful and the table waiting staff too. I just think that if you are going to be the first contact you need to have a nice manner and working in customer services myself I expect better than the way we were treated. 😡

Can't beat a Sunday Carvery! The Food was good and staff were pleasant. Dinner was most enjoyable.

Amazing welcoming staff every visit. I had a pizza which was freshly made and delicious and my partner had carvery which he thoroughly enjoyed. Could not fault anything about my meal and will definitely be back again very soon.

Went to have some lunch today with it being mother's day. Hugely disappointed. 1st of All couldn't find us on the booking list , eventually got a table. Was told 35/40 minutes waiting time. Why not have that explained when we booked earlier today. Food came and to be honest the burger my husband had was flat, cheap and nasty, tasteless. I had the fish also tasteless, if it wasn't for tartar sauce I wouldn't have know what I was eating. I understand it was busy with it being mother's day but improve your food standards as totally unacceptable. ☹☹

The service couldn't be better, unfortunately, on this occasion we felt that some of our food was overcooked. We waited quite a while for it to arrive and I have to say it could have been better. My daughter had a chicken wrap which was very uninspiring, loads of lettuce and a bit of chicken with no sauce or mayo. We ordered sides of halloumi fried and salt & pepper mushrooms, both fried till they were rock hard along with the chips and fried chicken. I've eaten here before and really enjoyed the food, guess we got the chef on a bad day!

We came here as a family of 5 for Sunday breakfast with two kids and our little dog for the first time. We had a lovely breakfast and the staff were great and very attentive. A special mention to the staff member hayley. She went out her way to make sure we had everything we needed.

4 adults and 1 child. We were eventually showed to a table. I always take antibacterial wipes with me due to covid. I wiped down the table and it was really dirty. I gave the wipes to a staff member and said to her my findings. She said thanks and nothing else!Food was OK, nothing great. Not the most cheery staff either!!Not wanting any discounts or anything. Would just want the place I'm eating is clean!

Surprisingly good. Went there for the first time for a Sunday roast and have to say it was banging, absolutely delicious they had choices of 4 meats, and gravy is thick as it should be.Went there recently again and I will keep going back
