IL CAPO in North Lanarkshire

There was 11 of us at a family dinner tonight & we all had an amazing time. The girls serving us were first class, so friendly & took such good care of us. The food was delicious & everyone loved it. Cocktails were delicious too & there was such a great atmosphere. Everyone who worked there were so friendly & can’t recommend Il Capo highly enough.

Visited on a sat evening, it was busy when we went in about 7.30 but was empty about 9.30 and think we were the last to leave.Mussels as a starter were great but main was only ok, pasta was a wee bit mushy as was the chicken.The staff were very attentive and my wife says that her cocktails were great.

The food is lovely, and the service uniquely good. Watch about for the Portuguese joker! Took some pictures but the tiramisu was finished before I could blink!

Incredible food and service. My new favorite restaurant! We went here for my father’s birthday last night expecting it to be a normal Italian restaurant. It is not normal, but is far better than any Italian restaurant that I’ve ever eaten at. The prices are reasonable, but the food is better than restaurants that cost 3 or 4 times as much. The staff members are all super cool and you can tell that they are passionate about the food. We had the sea bass, mullet, and chicken, and they were all exceptional. You absolutely have to try their mozzarella bread with their perfectly spiced olive oil. Seriously, take my word for it. We didn’t realize that you need a reservation, and we were lucky to get in, so make sure you call ahead and get a reservation. This is definitely a must-do if you are anywhere close to the area. Many thanks to the Il Capo staff for making last night amazing!

Very dissatisfied with quality and quantity of food delivered.Called to collect, was told sorry no,only order through Just Eat, and then charged 3.00 delivery,and 50p service charge,Absolutely overpriced in every aspect. Asked for penne arrabiata with chicken, and no chicken in carton, this is why I prefer to collect, and don't understand why we can't.Overall order came to 30.00 inclusive of delivery for two.Food was bland, probably due to not having the chicken i requested, and to be spicy, also had a portion of chips was a very small carton for 2 people in my opinion.I have visited restaurant on many occasions,but will never order for take away.For this money I will get better value elsewhere..Thanks for the Limited response to my original complaint,however you never answered any of my initial questions of why I cannot collect? Why such a high delivery?, and why a service charge?. And why is quantity and quality of food poor?I have supported most local restaurants throughout the pandemic, but I am now forever seeing an increase in additional costs, which is very poor, and will push people to stop using local restaurants.Has covid made the quality and quantity poor?. No.But it's simply a way of recouping more and more profit from the consumer. I actually rave about this restaurant as being one of the best in the Region,and sent many friends to the establishment.As a customer, I expect value for money,and promote places I visit, will this experience stop me from visiting?, No, but I am making you aware that your delivery process is not simply good enough,hence I said I will never order again, your response saying I will send you another section of a meal is below my expectations, as for me the meal was ruined as both me and my partner were so dissatisfied with what we received as a meal from your restaurant.Thank you

Wow, this place has definitely upped their game. Loved the grub, atmosphere and banter!

Went for a meal here with my partner, staff are so friendly and polite. The meals we ordered were really first class, portions were a very good size, well cooked and so tasty. Prices were fair for the quality of the food. First time here but it will not be the last. I recommend this for a good meal and night out.

Great host, the Portuguese guy. Nice small place with good quality food. Friends enjoyed the large prawns n mussels starter. The Il Capo burger is big and filling and the bun it comes in is nt soggy or break apart. Onion rings are massive and great batter. Sea bass looked superb as well as carbonara.Fab food and will go back, reasonable prices.
