La Bella Ristorante italiano in North Lanarkshire

We are regulars here since opening and after last nights visit I very much doubt we will be back, alot of new inexperienced staff, and not up to scratch I’m afraid, we noticed as soon as looking at the menu that the price have gone up(totally understand this as cost of living ect…, but dearer than some glasgow Italians), to start the starter order was wrong and had to wait for correct choice (already waited 25 minutes for starters), also the 3 mozzarella sticks and tiny bit of salad does definitely not justify £6.25 price tag….then mains came very quickly after, pasta was very over cooked, also 5.95 for a small portion of chilli garlic broccoli???, and if I’m being honest all food was just “ok”, which is a shame because we have always enjoyed the food here, and it’s local and always had banter and good chat with the service guys, (not one of them around last night), then the bill, 1 hour and 5 minutes after walking through the door and £103 lighter… I understand businesses need to try to make a profit but come on, and also a £1 for a take away tray, I know the prices of these from catering suppliers and that is some profit being made. All in all, such a shame.

Myself and my friend attended this restaurant with our two children. The experience we had was like no other. We experienced one of the waiters being very racist and derogatory towards a customer. Following this, we will not be back.

X2 course for 2. Came to £45 including X2 coke's and a water. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Would go again.

the food itself couldnt be faulted - never had such a delicious mushroom risotto. only drawback was that we spent a lot of money on drinks, starters and mains for 3 , then had to pay £1 for a box to bring home the remaining pizza. given the amount of money they'd had from us i thought they had a nerve charging for a box when we were trying to stop food waste !
