Excellent service and food was first class

Ordered on line for a mixed starter and a chicken tikka masala and everything was cold won't be using again very disappointed as we regularly eat in at the gulistan

Ordered food at 18.55 , order delivered at 21.15. Spoke to restaurant at 20.35 and lied to about delivery . Food was cold on arrival , poppadoms were soggy and stale ……. Never again

Always loved this place. Great food & lovely staff, however, it is quite pricey.I also ordered one tonight, and either I have got to the age where I can no longer eat curry without suffering the consequences, or someone has laced my Patia with laxatives & I am experiencing the wrath of God.

Yesterday we decided to give the New Gulistan a try and placed an order at 5.10 for a set meal for 2..We patiently waited until 6.20 and then my husband called to cancel the delivery only to be told it had already left and was on its way. At 6.50 after it had been cancelled,the delivery guy knocked at the door with the food, which had to be freezing cold after being driven all around for more than half an hour.We live 600 meters away from the restaurant. Disappointed is an understatement, we heard good things and now well never get to try it.

Do not order food from here. Long story but basically I ordered via Just-Eat at 8:20 no food at 10:00, called restaurant said 10 to 15 mins, called restaurant 10:45, they said they can't deliver. Then Just-Eat said delivered. Still waiting 10 days later for refund. Restaurateur is a liar, fact.

Went for a meal tonight. I have to say that the food is good, however, the service is shocking. A father and daughter left before their order was taken due to time it took. The beer was flat and the staff service was sloppy. Cutlery thrown down and glasses dirty. I will not be back unfortunately.

Ordered food from here. None of it was as described in the menu. Delivery was almost an hour late. When I phoned to ask why I received a tub of red stuff and a bit of cucumber not wrapped in anything, but supposed to be a "spicy chicken hoagie wrap" the guy said it was the fault of the menu and not them. Wont be ordering from here ever again.

On Wednesday evening 22nd January four of us visited The New Gulistan Indian Restaurant in Kilsyth and we all agreed the cuisine was excellent and the staff couldn’t be more helpful.In my last visit under the old owners my trip advisor review was bad but what a transformation not only in the quality of food but also in the restaurant decor I will certainly be using this restaurant frequently.

Fantastic meal as usual. Love this place. Eddie is great. Restaurant was quieter than I though it would be but still first class service.
