Had a great lunch on Saturday loved everything great food and service could not be faulted Can't wait to return

Out with a party of 6 for dinner last night, waitress was great and despite a slight misunderstanding with the mains she handled it really well, and there were absolutely no problems. Drinks and food were good and was a nice atmosphere overall

Went for lunch - very nice soup and arancini and huge portion of Mac and Cheese for the young one. Pizzas looked good on other tables. Clean, professional.

Six of us went for lunch today the food was amazing also the staff are so nice great service can't wait to go back would give it 6 stars if I could

Gotta love their one meter long pizza. Lasagne to die for, genuine italian food. Going to have dinner there very often xxx

Firstly the food: excellent, very tasty, came soon after ordered and presentation was good.However, the service..... Honestly felt like we were a nuisance. The waiter clearly wasn't a happy bunny and everything he did portrayed his attitude. So, whilst the food was good I don't think I will be revisiting anytime soon.

Before the pandemic, I worked as a mystery shopper in restaurants. I am only saying this because as someone who has had to be very critical of food, service, ambience, etc I just had to come here to share what a fantastic meal I enjoyed here tonight. I had the Seafood Linguine. Because of allergies, I requested a couple of changes which were perfectly accommodated. Without going into too much detail, what I will say is that the quality and especially the quantity of ingredients was outstanding, packed with seafood and cooked to perfection. In fact this dish was as good as I've had in a very long time. And I've just finished a two week tour of Scotland which took in Edinburgh, Loch Lomond and Glasgow and having eaten in restaurants of many different nationalities. The friendly, helpful and professional service topped a perfect evening off. I would highly recommend Paolo's if you are ever in the area.

Lovely evening tonight with family after accommodating a pushed back reservation. Waitressing staff were very patient and friendly. We missed one dish on our main course but luckily we had a sharing platter so I managed to get by. This was quickly rectified and lots of kind apologies from the staff for the evening.Some wine and lovely surroundings left for a great evening.Thanks all.

Decided to treat myself to lunch. The food was some of the best Italian food I have ever had. Try the Rosemary Grapefruit mock tail very refreshing. The staff was prompt and professional. Only wish you were in Peebles
