Raven's Cliff in North Lanarkshire

Called in today with old childhood friends. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Good menu selection. Food was lovely and not too long to wait. Had a great catch up and a relaxed afternoon. Highly recommend

Fantastic service and people. So friendly and welcoming. Also cheered us on during our 10000 daily step challenge during February. Became the regular pit stop and Gayle always on hand to get us hydrated and fed. The whole team of management and staff are fantastic xxx

Really disappointed tonight. we were advised on arrival (7.40pm) that the kitchen was closing at 8pm and if we wanted to order food we had to order quickly.We ordered starters and mains. Had the sharing nachos with chilli that we paid extra for, but it came in a tiny jug which was just put down on the table rather than being put on top like it usually would be.I ordered the mixed grill and asked for my steak medium, but when it arrived it was blue. Our meal was served immediately after our starter plates were cleared and we couldn't touch the plates they were so hot so obviously had been sitting on the hot plate. I couldn't send my steak back as the kitchen was closed so I had to leave it on my plate. I informed the waitress, but i wasn't offered any sort of resolution to me being unable to eat the main part of my meal.My partner left half of his burger as it was dry and bland and had been left sitting to be served.I appreciate the kitchen was closing but we should've been turned away rather than given a half hearted meal.that we paid good money for.I won't return in a hurry, just felt like we were an inconvenience.

popped in for dinner with my partner as a wee treat, certainly not up to their usual standards, have eaten here on several occasions but was left dissapointed across the board. poor service, food quality has deteriotated dramatically even though it seems to be exactly the same menu. as previous visits, Maybe we were just unlucky and caught the resteraunt on a bad night but certainly wont be in a hurry to revisit.

Food was tasty, the staff were so welcoming and friendly and couldn't be more helpful and attentive.

So much nicer than The Red Squirrel at Stevenston. Excellent service, tasty HOT food,lovely waitress whose name I have forgotten, sorry. Aunt Morag enjoyed her dinner. We'll definitely be back again. Thank you .

The best steak!! Really lovely atmosphere. Treat their regulars..and their dogs.. like family. Great value and good food rangeHotel attached has lovely rooms and v comfy beds. Great value

Raven's Cliff Inn is a comfortable, clean and very helpful and friendly hotel and restaurant. The food is reasonably priced and always served hot and plentiful.The staff are attentive and make you feel welcome. A massive shout out goes to Gayle who made us feel welcome and couldn't do more for us.5 very happy workers!

Warm friendly environment- I even sat on my own in the bar as my husband went away to watch the live football in Glasgow which for a female I wouldn’t normally do unless I felt comfortable in the place.Had evening meal the next night - the Steak Thursday, lovely food and served quickly. By Friday morning we were eating breakfast in the pub again - quality food and value for money.Have recommended to all my family as a clean and comfortable place.

After staying in many Travelodges and premier inns around the country. We chose a Marston's Inn and couldn't be happier. It blows the competition out the water.Comfy beds, decent shower, clean room. Room made every day.Restaurant attached to the hotel which was perfect for breakfast and a good dinner and a decent pint.All made a million times better by the friendly staff (especially Gayle) who was such a bubbly character and made us feel more than welcome.Well done Marston's, well done Gayle!We just wish we had more like this down south.
