Scarecrow in North Lanarkshire

I had high hopes for this place, however I was a little disappointed with the whole experience. We ordered a burger and a curry. The burger was cooked well, but as it was steak I was not asked how I wanted it cooked. The burger was not left to rest enough and so the bottom of the bun was quite soggy. A positive note; the chips and onion rings were nice. The curry was bland, unseasoned and left lacking a proper oomph to its taste. Between mains and dessert, a condiment pot was dropped on the floor, it was immediately picked up and handed to the chef who put it back to be used instead of washing it. This really bugged me so I had to tell the staff. The desserts were good, but I was a little bemused as to why they put fresh strawberries on a raspberry cheesecake. The cocktail drinks were so-so, the strawberry daiquiri lacked flavour but the mockjito was nice.

Only for myself. Roll was yesterday's full of dough and been heated up to disguise, sausage poor and lukewarm . So not impressed. Attention of staff brilliant. Lovely establishment but I won't be back.

Went for lunch, Food was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable. I would recommend it.

Just back from a long lunch with my daughter. First of all I need to praise the staff, so attentive,chatty and kind but not overbearing. Menu was excellent just what we wanted and the desserts are yummy as is the rose wine. This was our first time but certainly won't be our last,lovely decor, very welcoming made us feel very comfortable. Thank you.madeadus fee

Lovely restaurant. Decor is very nice. Menu is very good and all reasonably priced. Staff are lovely. Meal was delicious. Good drinks menu also. A definite must.

It's a great little restaurant, with large windows looking onto the pedestrianised main street, food was lovely and you can pop through to the lounge for drinks after your meal. The restaurant is completely separate from the lounge bar, which is nice. reasonably priced food and set menus, the food is hand made, freshly prepared and the chips are heavenly .
