Lovely beer garden to enjoy the sunshine and views of the marina and canal. Staff were very friendly and eager to please. Service was quick too. Food was average pub grub and I thought the posh fries were a bit strange (sort of scooped out fat chips) - but that's just my opinion.

Nice drinks and good chef but lassange was less then nice and at £15 I would've prefered them to heat up a frozen asda one and serve me that

Visited midweek and wished we hadn’t. Been here before, food and service were great, but as it seems to have changed hands so have quality. Food was poor, place was cold and staff uninterested. Around a dozen customers in when we visited, and none looked too impressed. Maybe nice place in sunny weather outside with a beer, but avoid the food. Very poor.

Great food great waiting staff. Look forward to our next visit. The manager for the dinning was very efficient and friendly. Nothing was too much bother

Had a nice walk to this place along the canal.Scenery is spectacular in this area.Decor inside The Boathouse is fantastic and trendy and the food equally matched the decor!I went for the Rib Eye steak “Well Done” before someone says I know I know that’s not how to eat steak, but that is how I enjoy it 😀. Anyway the Rib Eye was fantastic and the fries really really nice, finished off with a great coffee. All in all a great place especially with young ones, the place is also dog friendly.Views to die for.

Lovely, warm, cosy, family friendly, dog friendly, bar, barista, cafe, restaurant. Personally, I really enjoyed it, I had the Chicken Caesar Burger. Tastey, chicken had a weird after taste but together it was nice. Lovely bacon and bun. Standard prices. Worked out just over £20 a head.

For a rural settlement like Kilsyth, the Boathouse is definitely a centre of attraction. The environment is welcoming and the esthetics brought about by the number of boats is a beauty to behold. The pub and bar is great. I will like to visit here again on a summer holiday. The foyer will be a great place to party. Recommended.

Had an absolutely outstanding meal with my grandad and Dad with an amazing view of the canal marina. I had Cullen skink followed by wild mushroom risotto and it was top notch and the fish and chips and Caesar salad looked immense too. Was lucky to see a pair of swans with 9 cygnets and also some lovely mallard ducks chilling out at the marina

Booked in advance for an evening celebration dinner. Staff are exceptional, they are not only friendly but caring and genuine. The food was delicious. Great sized portions and the staff offer to box up any food not eaten. The setting of the Restaurant is beautiful and if you are lucky to get a window seat it is lovely to look out at the boats on the canal. I cannot recommend any more. Definitely will be returning. The staff made my son feel so special for his birthday. Thank you
