Went for brunch over the weekend. Service was incredibly slow despite there only being 5 other tables in the entire restaurant. The food was incredibly underwhelming. Eggs Benedict was dramatically overcooked and under sauced. I had the scramble and they must have run out of eggs because it was essentially a heap of potatoes, some veggies and a dollop of berenaise. Arguably worst part was $4 for coffee that was cold by the time our server brought out cream, and to boot we were never offered top ups. It's a shame but highly unlikely I'd ever go for brunch there again.

The food was okay, definitely could have been better. My friends got the salt and pepper wings and it was pretty much just salt. The service also wasn’t the greatest, waited 30 minutes for wings and my friend wanted a refill of her Pepsi that took at least 15 minutes. Pretty much the only great thing about it was the plastic straws.PS:There’s no rootbeer. Astounding.Edit: got my first refill(I ordered Pepsi) got a frickin 7Up, it was not rootbeer.

Great pub! Lots of flavours for wing night. Good assortment of local and craft beers. Have always had good service here.

Usually we have a good experience here. Unfortunately tonight was not a good experience it was an absolutely terrible experience. We arrived to the restaurant at 7pm for our reservation of 8-10 people. It was instantly soured when we were informed that last call for food was at 8pm and that they were closing at 9pm. For most groups this would be totally acceptable, however our group has individuals that work late. Our group ordered food just shortly after 7 and was under the impression that it was wing night. We had a full conversation infront of the staff about it being wing night, they must have heard us as they brought over the wing menu. But nothing was said in return. After waiting for over 45 minutes for our food, we were finally starting to get it trickling out from the kitchen. When the final basket of wings came out we politely inquired if we would still be able to order some additional wings if we were still hungry (again nothing was said to us about it not being wing night). A good 20+ minutes passed and our waitress was nowhere to be found. A member of our party got up and went to the bar to ask for a additional drink as we were not receiving service from our waitress. It was just after that when the manager (lead waitress) came out to see if we wanted any additional wings. It was at this point when we were informed as a table that it was not wing night. Up to this point we had been extremely polite and patient in regards to the lack of service we had been provided. But that was not the case anymore... In the nicest possible manner we informed the manager that was not the understanding we had when we booked our reservation nor when we had placed the orders. 7/8 people at the table had ordered 2 baskets of wings so around a total of about $210 worth of wings. When we started to explain how we as the customers were feeling about the service or the lack of we were provided a statement of "well when you order that many wings on a non-wing night we are not prepared and it takes more time to get them ready." to which we replied again we were unaware that it was not wing night and that our waitress never said anything to correct us when we originally placed our orders. After some back and forth the manager advised she was going to make a call and would come back with a resolution. After some time she arrived back at the table to advise they would not be honouring the wing night price and that the best she could do was 30% off the price of the wings. To say the table was unimpressed would be an understatement. However we remained polite, asked for our bills and paid accordingly as we were not just going to get up and not pay. While we were paying the bill the manager had the nerve to inform us that starting Saturday they would now be having wing nights on both Wednesday & Saturdays moving forward. To say that this experience left a poor taste in our mouths would be an understatement. At this point the majority of the group will probably not return. We do respect that they did not really have to do anything for us and appreciate the small discount but overall especially during Covid when restaurants are begging for business it seems like an extremely large oversight and overall poor service.

Enjoyed it a lot! Just wish there was more food on my plate cuz it was really good. Got to sit on the balcony and that was pretty cool.

We've gone here a lot over the years and had kind of given up on the hit and miss food and service, but tried again recently and were presently surprised. Twice. Apparently it's under new management and doing much better. Really enjoyed my Bullfrog on the patio in August and the Beach Pail of Sangria amuses me greatly! Also had a Beef Dip to die for a couple of weeks ago. But they'll have to keep an eye on the food wait time. Probably going again tonight. :D

Went there on Friday evening for a date night. Wasnt too busy. Ordered 3 appetizers. Waited 50 mins for them to arrive. Wife and I were watching other people get their food who came in later than us. Our waitress was really nice and checked on it for us and apparently, the kitchen lost our order and they were going to make it right away. Got 10% off our order though. Food came (finally) hot and portions sizes were good. Overall experience was satisfied.

My advice.. dont order anything via delivery. In restaurant food seems fine.. but we ordered delivery and everything was cold, soggy, wet, and all around awful.. I think they also markup the prices. $17 for 4 small chicken strips and some soggy fries? Not good value..Oh also ordered a brisket grilled cheese.. they seem to have forgotten the cheese? So sub standard.

Had a kid-friendly group gathering here for dinner. It’s nice to see they have a section for children before 8pm. This opens up options for families who want to dine out. Since Airdrie is a very family oriented place, I think this is a positive change. Our server was exceptional and very kind toward the kids at the table - offering colouring and a kids menu. The food overall was approved by most! The only complaint was the shepherds pie - lacking in the quantity of meat given. The portions were generous and the prices were quite reasonable. The calamari was good; however I would have loved a crispier coating (my personal preference).Wide range of options on the menu to help suit everyone’s taste. Some gluten-friendly options as well. Looking forward to returning and trying something else on the menu!*note- the calamari and coconut shrimp were partially eaten before I took the photo
